Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää arvioijien näkemyksiä englannin kielen taidon arvioimiseen laadittujen näyttökriteerien käytettävyydestä hotellivirkailijan ja matkailun ohjelmapalvelujen ammattitutkinnoissa. Ilman ammatillista pätevyyttä pitkään työssä olleet aikuiset voivat hankkia ammattitutkinnon Suomessa osoittamalla ammattitaitonsa näyttötutkintojen avulla. Näyttöä vastaanottava oppilaitos laatii näyttökriteerit tutkinnon perusteissa määriteltyjen arviointikriteerien pohjalta. AT signaling to myocardial cells through soluble factors known as adipokines, cardiokines, branched-chain amino acids and small molecules like microRNAs, undoubtedly influence myocardial cells and AT function via the endocrine-paracrine mechanisms of action. Promotion of school engagement through dialogic teaching practices in the context of a teacher professional development programme

This study was conducted in the context of a teacher professional development programme that aimed to improve dialogic teaching in the classroom, and it describes the programme and examines the change in teachers' dialogic teaching practices and pupils' classroom engagement during the programme. Data on pupils' school engagement were collected using classroom video recordings and students' self-ratings at the end of the lesson including dialogic teaching practices. The participants comprised seven in-service teachers and their 140 pupils (10- to 15-year-olds) from two comprehensive schools. Recipient Design by Gestures : How Depictive Gestures Embody Actions in Cooking Instructions

This paper investigates how depictive gestures, i.e., hand movements that depict actions, scenes or objects, are configured and used for accomplishing instructions. By drawing on video recordings of second language interactions in cooking classes for newcomers in Finland, we focus on instructions that project a certain type of complying bodily action as the relevant next action. We demonstrate that the instructions are designed to be sensitive not only to the contingencies of the material ecology of the kitchen but also to the epistemic and linguistic asymmetries between the participants. The odour of human milk: Its chemical variability and detection by newborns

International audience; Human milk odour has for long elicited research interest with regard to its function in breastfeeding initiation. The present review aims to provide an overview of the behavioural effects of human milk odour in the human neonate, considering different types of response measures in a feeding or non-feeding context. Further, an overview of the current knowledge of odorant composition and factors influencing milk odour is provided by summarizing results from analytical studies using olfactometry, and addressing changes in milk odour due to storage, lactational stage, and maternal dietary intake of odorous substances. We finally highlight some issues for future research.
