OnCallavia(Trilobita) from the Cambrian Series 2 of Iberia with systematic status of the genus

Olenellid trilobites from the lower Cambrian of the Iberian Peninsula are very scarce and poorly studied, making them difficult to compare with defined species and to include in biostratigraphic and paleobiogeographic analyses. Based on newly collected specimens, we revise the species ‘Callavia? lotzei’ Richter and Richter, 1941 from the ‘Cumbres beds’ of Cumbres de San Bartolomé and the ‘Herrerías shale’ of Cañaveral de León, Sierra del Bujo, and Hinojales (Huelva, Spain), and ‘Paradoxides choffati’ Delgado, 1904 from the Vila Boim Formation of Elvas (Portugal). Background: This study aimed at examining diagnostic concordance between Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) among bereaved war survivors who had lost relatives due to war-related violence.Method: We investigated the rates of PGD and its association with PTSD and MDD among 60 bereaved people who had lost first-degree relatives due to war-related violence seven years ago and had also experienced other war-related events.Results: The results indicated that 38.3% of the sample fulfilled the criteria for PGD, 55.0% for PTSD, and 38.3% for MDD. Chimney and periscope grafts to facilitate endovascular treatment of aortic transection in a patient with aberrant right subclavian artery

Purpose: To report the use of parallel grafts to extend the proximal landing zone for stentgraft repair of aortic transection involving an aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA). Case Report: A 28-year-old patient was referred for treatment of traumatic aortic transection with contained rupture at the level of an ARSA. Immediate thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) was planned because of hemodynamic instability. To achieve rapid sealing and maintain perfusion to both subclavian arteries, a chimney stent to the left subclavian artery (LSA) and a periscope stent-graft to the ARSA were deployed successfully. Comparative investigation of the macromolecular composition of mycelia forms Thielavia terrestris by infrared spectroscopy

Using analytical and infrared spectroscopic methods, the differences between the composition of diffuse and pellet forms of mycelium of the ascomycete Thielavia terrestris were described. Quantitative estimates of the amounts of protein, nucleic acids and carbohydrates in T. terrestris showed a predominance of catabolic processes in the metabolism of the pelleted form, in comparison to the diffused form.
