This article focuses on the shaping of social identities and emotions of one British young woman who spent a Year Abroad (YA) in Italy as an ERASMUS student. I have examined her negotiation and (re)construction of social identities during her experience abroad from a poststructuralist perspective, which sees individuals’ identities as dynamic and changeable sites of struggles (Norton Pierce, 1995 and 2000). The aim of this study was to build a conception as well as a substantive theory of adult learners’ group learning. The framework for this study is andragogy, which places the life context of adult learners at the center of the learning process (Knowles 1990). This study has been carried out using grounded theory as a research methodology. Hermeneutics offers a broad scientific paradigm for the understanding of group learning as a phenomenon, whereas grounded theory offers a concrete tool for analyzing data and developing a substantive theory. We classify of the minimum energy problem in one dimensional wireless sensor networks for the data transmission cost matrix which is a power function of the distance between transmitter and receiver with any real exponent. We show, how these solutions can be utilized to solve the minimum energy problem for the data transmission cost matrix which is a linear combination of two power functions. Valodas mācīšanās paņēmieni sākumskolas skolēniem ar dažādiem mācīšanās traucējumiem angļu valodas mācīšanās veicināšanai

Diplomdarba pētījums tika veikts, lai labāk izprastu iekļaujošās izglītības idejas praktisko pielietojumu situācijās, kad angļu valodas skolotājam jāstrādā arī ar skolēniem, kuriem ir mācīšanās traucējumu pazīmes. Diplomdarba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādi valodas mācīšanās paņēmieni var palīdzēt sākumskolas skolēniem ar dažādiem mācīšanās traucējumiem angļu valodas mācīšanās veicināšanai. Par pētījuma metodi tika izvēlēts gadījuma pētījums. Respondentu izlasē tika iekļauti 15 angļu valodas skolotāji no dažādām vispārizglītojošajām skolām un 14 sākumskolas posma skolēni vecumā no 7 līdz 9 gadiem vienā no Rīgas privātajām vidusskolām.
