Abstract Objective The COVID-19 pandemic has strongly affected daily habits and psychological wellbeing, and many studies point to large modifications in several sleep and sleep-related domains. Nevertheless, pre-sleep arousal during the pandemic has been substantially overlooked. Titanocene Selenide Sulfides Revisited: Formation, Stabilities, and NMR Spectroscopic Properties

[TiCp2S5] (phase A), [TiCp2Se5] (phase F), and five solid solutions of mixed titanocene selenide sulfides [TiCp2SexS5−x] (Cp = C5H5−) with the initial Se:S ranging from 1:4 to 4:1 (phases B–E) were prepared by reduction of elemental sulfur or selenium or their mixtures by lithium triethylhydridoborate in thf followed by the treatment with titanocene dichloride [TiCp2Cl2]. Their 77Se and 13C NMR spectra were recorded from the CS2 solution. Lavatanssi on kasvattanut suosiotaan viime vuosikymmeninä. Terveys- ja kuntoliikuntamuotona sitä on tutkittu varsin vähän. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää lavatanssin fyysistä aktiivisuutta ja kuormittavuutta sekä niihin yhteydessä olevia tekijöitä. Yhden tanssi-illan aikana tammikuussa 2011 tanssijoiden fyysistä kuormittavuutta mitattiin sykemittareilla ja fyysistä aktiivisuutta selvitettiin askelmittareilla. Taustatietoja kerättiin sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella. Tutkimukseen osallistui 58 vapaaehtoisesti ilmoittautunutta tanssinharrastajaa. Purpose Sleep restriction is increasingly common and associated with the development of health problems. We investigated how the neuroendocrine stress systems respond to prolonged sleep restriction and subsequent recovery sleep in healthy young men. Methods After two baseline (BL) nights of 8 h time in bed (TIB), TIB was restricted to 4 h per night for five nights (sleep restriction, SR, n = 15), followed by three recovery nights (REC) of 8 h TIB, representing a busy workweek and a recovery weekend.
