El pasado día 12 de febrero del presente año, la Sección Cuarta del TEDH dictó sentencia por la que se resolvía el asunto PAIS PIRES DE LIMA contra PORTUGAL. En ella, se estimó que la elevada indemnización impuesta al demandante, abogado en ejercicio, por las críticas efectuadas a un magistrado, suponía una vulneración de su derecho a la libertad de expresión.
