This doctoral thesis in Communication Sciences offers to rethink the question of transmission of manual trades, in the context of contemporary craft industry in France. We analyse the classical dualism between “manual” and “nonmanual”, and go further with a theoretical approach of intelligence derived from Janet and Jousse. Translational research training is crucial to convert academic research ideas into efficient real-life solutions. In this paper a summer school supported by EIT Health is presented. Its main goal is to integrate clinical knowledge in the development of new medical devices, from ideas to post-market approval, in the clinics. Students were immersed in clinical centres where they had close contacts and engaged discussions with clinicians and patients to identify and assimilate clinical unmet needs. Attitudes of referees in a multidisciplinary journal: An empirical analysis

This paper looks at 10 years of reviews in a multidisciplinary journal, The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation (JASSS), which is the flagship journal of social simulation. We measured referee behavior and referees' agreement. We found that the disciplinary background and the academic status of the referee have an influence on the report time, the type of recommendation and the acceptance of the reviewing task. Referees from the humanities tend to be more generous in their recommendations than other referees, especially economists and environmental scientists. La biblioteca escolar ha adquirido en los últimos años un nuevo protagonismo, convirtiéndose en un espacio de aprendizaje fundamental para la enseñanza de las distintas áreas y materias y el fomento de competencias en el alumnado. El objetivo de este trabajo es validar un cuestionario diseñado ad hoc para evaluar el funcionamiento y las formas de uso e incorporación de la biblioteca escolar a la actividad pedagógica diaria. Bibliogrāfiskajā rādītājā apkopotas publikācijas preses izdevumos, kurās minēta LU Bibliotēka no 1941. līdz 1990. gadam (ieskaitot), kad Pētera Stučkas Latvijas Valsts Universitāte (turpmāk LVU) atgūst savu iepriekšējo nosaukumu – Latvijas Universitāte. Bibliogrāfiskā rādītāja izstrādē izmantots Latvijas Nacionālās digitālās bibliotēkas portāls periodika.lv. Rezultāti tika atlasīti, izvēloties pētījumam nepieciešamo laika periodu. Lai apkopotu bibliogrāfiskajam rādītājam atbilstošus rakstus, tika veikta visu publikāciju kvalitatīvā satura analīze. Bibliogrāfiskie ieraksti kārtoti hronoloģiski, ņemot vērā būtiskus vēsturiskus atskaites punktus un bibliotēkas mainīgo struktūru.

This discussion paper is a follow-up to a previous bibliometric analysis of articles published in The International Journal of Maritime History and maritime-themed articles published in other economic and business history journals over the last 25 years. The paper looks more closely at articles dealing with the Mediterranean and articles written by scholars from the Mediterranean countries. The article is structured around five propositions about current trends in Mediterranean maritime history publishing in English-language journals.
