From conceptualization to constructions in Finnish as an L2 : a case study

AbstractThis study traces the individual learning trajectories of an adult beginner L2 Finnish learner in expressing the extralinguistic concept of evaluation from a dynamic usage-based perspective. Our results provide support for the view of learner language as a dynamic system in which patterns wax and wane and in which a change in one component has the potential to affect the whole system. In the early stages of learning there was a strong preference to use lexical verbs first, and then adjectives. The study also shows that variability plays a role. These disparities can be offset by implementing a shared plan that supports the post-pandemic restart and strengthens its resilience to external shocks. Pantelleria Island is the type locality of pantellerite, an iron and alkali-rich rhyolite (P.I=molar Na2O+K2O/Al2O3 >1.05). Peralkaline rhyolites (i.e pantellerite and comendite) and trachytes usually represent the felsic end-members in continental rift systems (e.g., Pantelleria, Tibesti, Ethiopia, Afar, Kenya, Bain and Range, South Greenland) and in oceanic sland settings (Socorro Is., Easter Is., Iceland and Azores). Le modifiche apportate al delitto di traffico d’influenze illecite ad opera della legge n. 3/2019 hanno accentuato il deficit di determinatezza che già caratterizzava la fattispecie sin dalla sua introduzione, delineando un modello di incriminazione incapace di selezionare le condotte di intermediazione penalmente rilevanti distinguendole dalla attività di lobbying consentita. Cultural Policies of Safeguard of Traditional Heritage. The Sicilian Case

The paper reconstructs an experience of cooperation between the University of Palermo and the Department of Cultural Heritage, Natural Heritage and Public Education of the Sicilian Regional Government, that took place at the end of 1970s. This experience is still regarded as a model of good practice based on the connection “culture and development” and focused on the recovery of traditional heritage. The author proposes an evaluation on short, medium and long-term effects on the Sicilian territory, dealing with notions such as memory and history, and discussing on the mechanism of objectivation of one’s own culture.

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp miega kvalitāti, depresiju un trauksmes rādītājiem maiņu strādājošiem policijas darbiniekiem un normālā laika strādājošiem policijas darbiniekiem. Mast cells as protectors of health.

Mast cells (MCs), which are well known for their effector functions in T(H)2-skewed allergic and also autoimmune inflammation, have become increasingly acknowledged for their role in protection of health. It is now clear that they are also key modulators of immune responses at interface organs, such as the skin or gut. MCs can prime tissues for adequate inflammatory responses and cooperate with dendritic cells in T-cell activation. They also regulate harmful immune responses in trauma and help to successfully orchestrate pregnancy.
