Magnetic fields and chiral asymmetry in the early hot universe

In this paper, we study analytically the process of external generation and subsequent free evolution of the lepton chiral asymmetry and helical magnetic fields in the early hot universe. This process is known to be affected by the Abelian anomaly of the electroweak gauge interactions. As a consequence, chiral asymmetry in the fermion distribution generates magnetic fields of non-zero helicity, and vice versa. We take into account the presence of thermal bath, which serves as a seed for the development of instability in magnetic field in the presence of externally generated lepton chiral asymmetry. Present and future research into the electroproduction of kaons plays an im- portant role at Mainz Microtron MAMI. With the Kaos spectrometer employed for kaon detection in the multi-spectrometer facility, cross section measurements of the exclusive p(e;e 0 K + ); 0 reactions at low momentum transfers have been performed. Isobar and Regge-plus-resonance models were compared with the data. These measurements have clearly discriminated between e ective Lagrangian models for photo- and electroproduc- tion of strangeness. Decision support systems assist people in making a decision or choosing a course of action in a nonroutine situation that requires judgment (Haubl and Trifts 2000; Kasper 1996). In online webstores, vendors can easily offer highly interactive types of decision support. These co-called interactive decision aids (IDA) “help consumers in making informed purchase decisions amidst the vast availability of online product offerings” (Wang and Benbasat 2009, p. 3). However, the application of IDA is not restricted to purchase decisions. They are general enough to be of use in any kind of choice task where alternatives are known.
Stock Market Bubbles and Monetary Policy Effectiveness

In this paper we provide evidence on the response of stock prices to monetary policy shocks, but conditioning the analysis to the direction of the monetary policy surprises and to the business conditions. We follow a two steps approach: First we use the SVAR approach to identify monetary policy shocks; and then we conduct regression analyses of contemporary stock market returns and monetary policy shocks in order to extract the implicit relationship between these variables in the four scenarios defined. Multiplicity of fixed points and growth of ε-neighborhoods of orbits

We study the relationship between the multiplicity of a fixed point of a function g, and the dependence on epsilon of the length of epsilon-neighborhood of any orbit of g, tending to the fixed point. The relationship between these two notions was discovered before (Elezovic, Zubrinic, Zupanovic) in the differentiable case, and related to the box dimension of the orbit. Here, we generalize these results to non-differentiable cases introducing a new notion of critical Minkowski order. Splicing modulators (SMs) pladienolides, herboxidienes, and spliceostatins exert their antitumor activity by altering the ability of SF3B1 and PHF5A proteins, components of SF3b splicing factor, to recognize distinct intron branching point sequences, thus finely calibrating constitutive/alternative/aberrant splicing of pre-mRNA. Here, by exploiting structural information obtained from cryo-EM data, and by performing multiple μs-long all-atom simulations of SF3b in apo form and in complex with selected SMs, we disclose how these latter seep into the narrow slit at the SF3B1/PHF5A protein interface.
