This article describes the place of the body in Russian psychiatry of the 1830s , and places it at the intersection of philosophy , theology and medicine . We show how contemporary literature quotes and distorts medical discourse and develops its own conception of the body . Denied , annihilated , bruised , mutilated , deprived of food , the bodies of madmen seem to be victims of the violence that these madmen impose on themselves . In our conclusion , we question the place of the voice of madmen in the literary text , arguing that this voice is at times the expression of the silent body , and at other times the expression of the souls that transcend these very bodies.

Framing the Press and the Publicity Process

This study examines meta-coverage in Campaign 2000, defined as (a) coverage of the behaviors, products, and performance of the news media and (b) coverage of candidates’ use of paid media, communication personnel, and other forms of strategic communication. Using a new model of press framing, a content analysis was conducted on 284 stories aired from September 4 to November 6 on ABC and NBC evening news programs. Results show that 55 stories contained enough press designators and 75 stories contained enough publicity designators to qualify for framing analysis. This article achieves a comparative analysis between the Citizenship and Integration Programme (2007-2010) and the spanish Migration Bill Project. Firstly, it aims to analyze whether the concept of integration, as it was introduced as a general principle within the Migration Bill, is consistent with the concept of the Programme. Secondly, it is about to examine how the notion of integration affects some of the provisions, which are introduced by the law reform, especially on fundamental rights. Ante la atención que envuelve el arte en contexto, este artículo explora cómo las voces poéticas de los habitantes de la ciudad, foco de impacto de las arduas políticas de la crisis de 2008 en España, toman los espacios afectados y los convierten en reductos de resistencia. La definición de las distintas zonas y los espacios intersticiales opera una dialéctica fundamental en ese proceso que concentra su conmoción sobre los cuerpos.
