Kouluviihtyvyys ja siihen liittyvät tekijät peruskoulussa ja toisen asteen opinnoissa

Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, miten peruskoulun kahdeksasluokkalaiset (N=491) ja toisen asteen opiskelijat (N=200) viihtyivät opinnoissaan ja mitkä eri tekijät siihen vaikuttivat. Aineisto koottiin kyselylomakkeilla kahdessa vaiheessa. Alkumittaus tehtiin keväällä 2008, jolloin tutkittavat olivat 8. luokalla ja uusintamittaus v. 2011–2012, jolloin he opiskelivat toista vuotta toisen asteen oppilaitoksissa. Tutkittavista 106 osallistui molempiin mittauksiin. Suurin osa (85,4 %) peruskoulun kahdeksasluokkalaisista viihtyi koulussa hyvin. Tehomaatalous pyrkii maksimoimaan maan tuottavuutta. Samalla se saattaa kuitenkin vaikuttaa negatiivisesti agroekosysteemien ravinnekiertoon ja maaperän rakenteeseen. Maaperäeläinten toiminnallisen monimuotoisuuden pieneneminen voi osaltaan heikentää maan ravinnekiertoa ja rakennetta. The higher order fractional Calderón problem for linear local operators : Uniqueness

We study an inverse problem for the fractional Schr\"odinger equation (FSE) with a local perturbation by a linear partial differential operator (PDO) of order smaller than the order of the fractional Laplacian. We show that one can uniquely recover the coefficients of the PDO from the Dirichlet-to-Neumann (DN) map associated to the perturbed FSE. This is proved for two classes of coefficients: coefficients which belong to certain spaces of Sobolev multipliers and coefficients which belong to fractional Sobolev spaces with bounded derivatives. Our study generalizes recent results for the zeroth and first order perturbations to higher order perturbations.

Spectral multipliers and wave equation for sub-Laplacians: lower regularity bounds of Euclidean type

Let $\mathscr{L}$ be a smooth second-order real differential operator in divergence form on a manifold of dimension $n$. Under a bracket-generating condition, we show that the ranges of validity of spectral multiplier estimates of Mihlin--H\"ormander type and wave propagator estimates of Miyachi--Peral type for $\mathscr{L}$ cannot be wider than the corresponding ranges for the Laplace operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$. The result applies to all sub-Laplacians on Carnot groups and more general sub-Riemannian manifolds, without restrictions on the step. Measurement of the average shape of longitudinal profiles of cosmic-ray air showers at the Pierre Auger Observatory

The profile of the longitudinal development of showers produced by ultra-high energy cosmic rays carries information related to the interaction properties of the primary particles with atmospheric nuclei. In this work, we present the first measurement of the average shower profile in traversed atmospheric depth at the Pierre Auger Observatory. The shapes of profiles are well reproduced by the Gaisser-Hillas parametrization within the range studied, for E>10 17.8 eV .A detailed analysis of the systematic uncertainties is performed using ten years of data and a full detector simulation. Labour market reforms, institutions, and the quality of employment : should we all follow German Hartz model in reforming labour markets?

Underemployment and aging population are major threats for several European economies. This study asks, whether partial labour market reforms, similar to German Hartz reforms, were good choices for other European countries, especially in terms of the quality of employment. Labour market liberalisation effects are assessed from macro-perspective on 25 OECD countries with fixed-effects panel data analysis. The effects for full-time, part-time, temporary, and low-wage employment are analysed separately for both genders, and also on young adults.
