Ievads: Kardiovaskulārās slimības (KVS) mirstības ziņā joprojām ieņem pirmo vietu pasaulē. Latvijā 2014. gadā tās veidoja 64% no visiem nāves cēloņiem sievietēm un 49% no visiem nāves cēloņiem vīriešiem (OECD, 2017). Jo īpaši, zema blīvuma lipoproteīnu holesterīns (ZBLH) ir galvenais terapeitiskais mērķis, aizkavējot saslimšanu ar KVS. Nesen papildinātās dislipidēmijas ārstēšanas vadlīnijas nosaka ļoti augsta riska pacientiem ZBLH mērķa līmeni <1,8 mmol/L un sākotnējā ZBLH līmeņa pazemināšanu vismaz par 50%. Abstract The binding of the [(pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) (2,2′-bipyridyl)(aquo)rhodium(III)] complex [Cp*RhIII(bpy)H2O]2+, to l -α-dipalmitoylphosphatidyl choline (DPPC) vesicles has been estimated by studying the kinetics of the electron transfer reaction between the rhodium(III) complex and formiate ions. Kinetic measurements carried out under anaerobic conditions in absence and presence of DPPC show that the total reaction is composed of two steps. The rate of the first reaction increases with the phospholipid concentration, while that of the second process is independent of the concentration of DPPC. Abstract Objective: To conduct a secondary analysis to study the effects, those 4 months of aquatic resistance training have on self‐assessed symptoms and quality of life in post‐menopausal women with mild knee osteoarthritis (OA), after the intervention and after a 12‐month follow‐up period. The integration of videoconferencing (VC) into ESP education provides an opportunity for the combination of collaborative learning, autonomous learning and cross-cultural communication via social media and ICT implementation. Videoconferencing encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning in order to achieve a successful outcome of the whole session and enables them to apply varied project-based concepts. Instructors usually remain in the background during the lesson but take an active role in the preparation. Taking non-manuality into account in collecting and analyzing Finnish Sign Language video data

This paper describes our attention to research into non-manuals when collecting a large body of video data in Finnish Sign Language (FinSL). We will first of all give an overview of the data-collecting process and of the choices that we made in order for the data to be usable in research into non-manual activity (e.g. camera arrangement, video compression, and Kinect technology). Secondly, the paper will outline our plans for the analysis of the non-manual features of this data.
