Il lavoro nell’ottica del monitoraggio e del miglioramento ai fini della progettazione delle attività future del Corso di Specializzazione per le Attività di Sostegno (D.M. 30 settembre 2011), si colloca in seno all’attuale dibattito sulla ricerca di indicatori specifici e di strumenti condivisi per valutare e migliorare i risultati della didattica universitaria in questo ambito. Previous crustal models of the High Atlas suppose the existence of a mid-crustal detachment where all the surface thrusts merged and below which the lower crust was continuous. However, both seismic refraction data and gravity modeling detected a jump in crustal thickness between the High Atlas and the northern plains. Here we show that this rapid and vertical jump in the depth of Moho discontinuity suggests that a thrust fault may penetrate the lower crust and offset the Moho (deep-rooted “thick skinned” model). Abstract The Early Cretaceous (138–130 Ma) carbonatites and associated alkaline rocks of Angola belong to the Parana-Angola-Etendeka Province and occur as ring complexes and other central-type intrusions along northeast trending tectonic lineaments, parallel to the trend of coeval Namibian alkaline complexes. Most of the Angolan carbonatite-alkaline bodies are located along the apical part of the Mocamedes Arch, a structure representing the African counterpart of the Ponta Grossa Arch in southern Brazil, where several alkaline-carbonatite complexes were also emplaced in the Early Cretaceous. The Mulgandinnah Shear Zone; an Archean crustal scale strike-slip zone, eastern Pilbara, Western Australia

Abstract A large part of the deformation in the Archean Pilbara granitoid-greenstone terrain is localized in relatively narrow shear zones. The Mulgandinnah shear zone (MSZ) is a major one of these, with a width up to 8 km, that can be followed for over 70 km along strike in the Shaw Batholith in the eastern Pilbara. It forms part of the Mulgandinnah Lineament, that can be traced to the Lalla Rookh Basin and the Carlindi Batholith in the north, giving it a total length of over 150 km. Edema della porzione supero-laterale del corpo adiposo di Hoffa: associazione con malallineamento o conflitto femoro-rotuleo.

OBIETTIVO. Giovani pazienti che presentano dolore al ginocchio hanno spesso malallineamento femoro-rotuleo o anomalie da conflitto. Vi è una relativa scarsità di letteratura sull'incidenza e il significato dell'edema legato al conflitto del versante supero-laterale del corpo adiposo di Hoffa in questi casi. Il nostro studio è stato disegnato per valutare sistematicamente la correlazione dell'edema della porzione supero-laterale del corpo adiposo di Hoffa con diversi parametri anatomici della morfologia trocleare e dell'allineamento della rotula. Abstract The submerged area located between the Sardinia Channel and the western Sicily offshore has been investigated based on deep crustal and conventional seismic lines with the aim of illustrating the relationships between the crust and its overlying crystalline and sedimentary thrust wedge. Diffuse degassing of carbon dioxide at Somma-Vesuvius volcanic complex (Southern Italy) and its relation with regional tectonics

Abstract A systematic survey of soil CO 2 concentrations was carried out on the flanks of Somma–Vesuvius volcano in order to constrain possible pathways responsible of carbon dioxide diffuse degassing taking place during the present state of quiescence. Measurements were performed at 1162 sites in late winter–spring 2000, highlighting that soil CO 2 concentrations range from 50 to 10500 ppmV. A statistical analysis was developed in order to define the threshold value of anomaly and separate the biogenic CO 2 component, produced by soil respiration, from the inorganic component of deep provenance.
