The paper focuses on the wrinting instruction for Chinese learners of Italian as Foreign Language (IFL). In particular, it will deal (sections 1 and 2) with the role that the rich Chinese textual tradition, together with its cultural and pragmatic aspects, could play in learning IFL textual competence. In this perspective section3 will deal with data from some texts written by undergaduate students of the degree course in Italian of the Sichuan International Studies University.

Starting from the data collected for Linguistic Atlas of Sicily (translation questionnaire, speech, ethnotexts) we propose a description of the Time and Aspect system of the varieties of contemporary Sicilian and regional Italian of Sicily. In particular, the expression of temporality is examined both in relation to the narration of past events and the existence of a Future Tense in Sicilian. The expression of Aspect is examinated through the use of synthetic and periphrastic structures. This contribution presents data and experiences acquired within the frame of the “Inclusion Project Linguistic School of Italian Language for Foreigners” of the University of Palermo. The program, created five years ago, has designed and managed educational courses for adults and unaccompanied minors (msna) of low and very low schooling level, most of them between 16 and 18 years old, and developed a series of social initiatives related to the insertion of these minors in Sicilian Society. These youths are part of a large number of unaccompanied adolescents who, in recent years, have come ashore to the port of Palermo along with thousands of refugees and asylum seekers. The aim of the paper is a comparison between Pirandello’s metalinguistic reflections on the varieties of his repertoire (Italian, regional Italian, Dialect) and the use of these varieties in his autobiographic writings, focusing in particular on Lettere della formazione (1891-1898) e Saggi e Interventi, and his scientific essays on the linguistic matter (Prosa Moderna, Per la solita questione della linugua, etc.). In 2018, the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China proposed the establishment of the Xin Wenke, the so-called ‘New Humanities Disciplines’, emphasizing interdisciplinary interaction, improvement of teaching, and integration between education and technology. Ampelonimia siciliana e tassonomia popolare: tra nomi e referenti scomparsi

Il contributo parte dall’accertamento in sincronia di tre cataloghi ampelonimici collocabili tra la fine del XVII sec. e la prima metà del XIX: due di questi (l’Hortus Catholicus di padre Francesco Cupani e il Vertunno Etneo di padre Gioacchino Geremia) risultano molti noti ai botanici, uno è un testo inedito (Dizionario botanico siculo-latino di Antonio Bonanno). Nei tre documenti vengono accuratamente descritti vitigni siciliani, di cui vengono forniti la denominazione dialettale e i corrispondenti geosinonimi. Il trattamento linguistico dei tre botanici prevede sempre l’uso della iniziale maiuscola e di norma essi considerano gli ampelonimi come sostantivi autonomi e non come appellativi…
