Every year before Christmas, the weekly newspaper “Gość Niedzielny” prepares materials to be used by parish priests in their work with children during Advent (during rorate missa). Each year they oscillate around one topic. One of the fixed components of the whole set that parishes receive is the so-called Rorate song, which is delivered in musical notation and as recorded music material. The authors and performers are artists associated with the scene of CCM in Poland. These materials have repeatedly aroused controversy. Parish priests emphasise their attractiveness, church musicians question their liturgicality. The paper analyses this phenomenon.

The dedication of a Church is not the only rite that is used for the initiation of a new place of Christian worship. At the beginning of the construction of a building, liturgical sources provide for the Rite of Foundation of a Church in which blessings are asked on both the workers and also on the future edifice. This paper gives a comparative analysis of prayers used in the rites of the Byzantine-Greek and Latin traditions. Jubileusz 50-lecia powstania diecezji opolskiej jest dobrą okazją, by uchwycić i opisać jej specyfikę w wielu obszarach. Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą pokazania specyfiki życia liturgicznego. Czytelnik poznaje odrębne uwarunkowania historyczne tej ziemi, następnie rolę modlitewnika Droga do nieba w kształtowaniu religijności Ślązaków, a także znaczenie Góry Świętej Anny i innych miejsc pielgrzymkowych w tym procesie. Tekst prezentuje też specyfikę życia sakramentalnego oraz roku liturgicznego praktykowane przez wiernych diecezji opolskiej.

The liturgy is the essence of life in every Church and every monastery. Before the Council of Trent the liturgical life was very rich. Every diocese and many orders introduced to the Roman Liturgy some specific characteristics and rites. The Knights of the Holy Sepulchre had their own liturgy called “rite of the church of the Christ’s tomb”. It was a Roman-Gallican rite originated mainly in central France, adapted to the customs of Jerusalem. Określenie chrześcijańskiej rodziny mianem „sanktuarium domowego Kościoła” pokazuje, że jest ona miejscem przygotowywania się jej członków do udziału w liturgii sprawowanej we wspólnocie parafialnej. Jednocześnie jest też miejscem przedłużania w domu kultu sprawowanego w kościele parafialnym. Jedną z głównych potrzeb rodziny i małżeństwa jest religijna kultura rodzinna, wyrażana w domowym zaciszu na wspólnej modlitwie. „Służba Boża Kościoła” Josefa Andreasa Jungmanna szerokie pojmowanie liturgii i jego krytyka

W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono kontrowersyjne poglądy J.A. Jungmanna, uznające za liturgię szeroko rozumianą „służbę Bożą Kościoła”. Natomiast przedmiotem drugiej części opracowania jest polemika związana z reflksją Jungmanna odnośnie do definicji liturgii. Jungmann pozostawał wierny promowanemu przez siebie dość ogólnie sformułowanemu określeniu liturgii, podkreślając potrzebę właściwego pojmowania użytych w nim terminów. Wywołana jego stanowiskiem polemika jest przykładem merytorycznej dyskusji, wnoszącej godny przypomnienia wkład w rozwój myśli teologicznej.
