The Role of Capital Accumulation in the Evolution of Total Factor Productivity in Spain

GDP growth in Spain was strong for much of the last half century, whereas the country’s productivity performance during these years has been mediocre. The reasons for this situation have frequently been analysed with the focus on labour productivity. But, as this article highlights, the evolution of capital productivity should also be taken into account when looking for explanations for poor productivity performance. Tieteellisen tutkimuksen avoimesta saatavuudesta (open access, OA) sekä avoimesta julkaisemisesta on tullut viime vuosina eräs keskeisistä kysymyksistä tieteellisen julkaisemisen kentällä. Itse tieteen avoimuuden ideaali, eli ajatus siitä, että tutkimustulosten tulisi olla tiedeyhteisölle avoimesti saatavissa sekä vapaasti käytettävissä, ei ole kuitenkaan mikään uusi asia (ks. Prediction of Specific TCR-Peptide Binding From Large Dictionaries of TCR-Peptide Pairs

Abstract The T cell repertoire is composed of T cell receptors (TCR) selected by their cognate MHC-peptides and naive TCR that do not bind known peptides. While the task of distinguishing a peptide-binding TCR from a naive TCR unlikely to bind any peptide can be performed using sequence motifs, distinguishing between TCRs binding different peptides requires more advanced methods. Such a prediction is the key for using TCR repertoires as disease-specific biomarkers. The valuation error in the compound values

In appraising the “valore di trasformazione” the valuation error is composed by the error on market value and the error on construction cost. In appraising the “valore complementare” the valuation error is composed by the error on market value of complex real property and on market value of the residual part. The final error is a function of the partial errors and it can be studied using estimative and market ratios. The application of the compounds values to real estate appraisal misleads unacceptable errors if carried out with the expertise.

España tiene un gran reto a futuro en la gran cantidad de individuos que no finalizan sus estudios más allá de la escolarización obligatoria y que se traduce en una alta tasa de abandono escolar prematuro y una baja tasa de graduación en secundaria post-obligatoria. En este marco, el objetivo de este trabajo es identificar si la política de becas, llevada a cabo durante el período 2004-2005 en España, ha sido eficaz en su objetivo de incrementar el porcentaje de alumnos que finalizan con éxito el nivel secundario post-obligatorio.
