This study examines parents’ experiences of the assessment and its outcomes in child welfare. The research question is as follows: What factors concerning the assessment process and context contribute to the outcomes of the assessment from the perspective of the parents? The realistic evaluation and program theory research give an evaluation research framework to the study. Estudio de las oligarquías y del gobierno municipal de tres villas costeras asturianas –Llanes, Villaviciosa y Luarca– durante la etapa final del Antiguo Régimen, tanto desde la óptica de la historia institucional como la historia social del poder. Se analiza tanto el origen de sus oligarquías –vinculado a la compra de cargos municipales y de extracción básicamente nobiliaria– como las analogías y las diferencias en las formas de gobierno de los tres concejos de los que las villas citadas eran su capital.
