Conversation analysis (CA) is primarily a method for the study of spoken interaction. It is most of all concerned with the sequential organization of interaction, but it is also interested in the inferential frameworks people use in making sense of each other in interaction. It was originated by Harvey Sacks in the 1960s, and it is influenced by the ethnomethodological sociology of Harold Garfinkel. Tämän monitieteistä lapsuudentutkimusta edustavan teoreettis-empiirisen tutkielman tehtävänä oli tarkastella, määrittää ja syventää tietoa koskien fenomenologis-hermeneuttista moraalia sekä pienten lasten moraalista toimintaa päiväkotikontekstissa. Tutkielman filosofisessa viitekehyksessä luonnosteltiin elämismaailmallista moraali-teoriaa, joka pohjautui ennen kaikkea Husserlin, Heideggerin ja Merleau-Pontyn fenomenologiaan. Tutkielma pohjasi ontologialtaan fenomenologiaan ja empirialtaan reflektiiviseen elämismaailmatutkimukseen sekä etnometodologiaan. Peptīda lunasīna un tā fragmentu efekti uz smadzeņu monoamīnu līmeni pelēm

Lunasīns ir jaunatklāts 43 aminoskābju garš peptīds, kas sākumā tika iegūts no sojas pupiņām. Pēc tam lunasīns tika atrasts arī graudaugos un citos augos. Lunasīnam piemīt pretvēža, pretiekaisuma darbība un spēja samazināt zema blīvuma lipoproteīnu līmeni asinīs. Tomēr lunasīna ietekme uz centrālo nervu sistēmu līdz šim ir ļoti maz pētīta. Darba mērķis bija pētīt lunasīna un tā fragmentu efektu uz monoamīnu saturu peļu smadzenēs, mērot monoamīnu līmeni ar augstas efektivitātes šķidruma hromatogrāfijas un masspektrometrijas tandēma metodi. Public note-taking on a digital platform as a workplace practice

Unlike traditional note-taking with pen and paper, in which the note-taking process is only partially accessible to the co-participants, note-taking in the digitalized workplace may be done publicly, so that both the content of notes and the process of writing them are observable to the co-participants. Using multimodally oriented conversation analysis, this study focused on public note-taking in interaction sequences where the facilitator of a workplace project records the results of a workshop discussion on a digital platform. AbstractAlthough victims at the International Criminal Court (ICC) are not parties, they can apply to become “victim participants” and may be authorized by an ICC Chamber to directly and orally express their views and concerns in court. Most ICC Trial Chambers, however, have preferred allowing legal representatives of these victim participants to call victims as witnesses to give testimonial evidence about the harm they suffered. Our article focuses on the practical-epistemological challenges that come with forcing accounts of harm into this testimony-format. A large part of the literature on translanguaging as a pedagogical theory has explored how an inclusive multilingual pedagogy can support students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds to actively participate in the classroom. While much of this literature approaches classroom translanguaging as an instructional strategy designed to promote multilingual interactional practices, we analyse how multilingual practices can also take place as subversive language play in an educational context that is driven by a monolingual norm. Recipient Design by Gestures : How Depictive Gestures Embody Actions in Cooking Instructions

This paper investigates how depictive gestures, i.e., hand movements that depict actions, scenes or objects, are configured and used for accomplishing instructions. By drawing on video recordings of second language interactions in cooking classes for newcomers in Finland, we focus on instructions that project a certain type of complying bodily action as the relevant next action. We demonstrate that the instructions are designed to be sensitive not only to the contingencies of the material ecology of the kitchen but also to the epistemic and linguistic asymmetries between the participants. Tutkielman aiheena on verkkosisällönhallintajärjestelmän käyttö palveluna, ja aihetta tarkastellaan PK-yrityksen näkökulmasta. Tavoitteena on selvittää, miten palveluna tarjottavat ohjelmistot soveltuvat PK-yrityksen verkkosisällönhallintaan. Tutkimus oli luonteeltaan laadullinen tutkimus. Teoriaosuudessa tutkimusmenetelmänä käytettiin kirjallisuuskatsausta ja lähdekirjallisuus koostui pääasiallisesti tietojärjestelmätieteen alueen lehdistä sekä konferenssijulkaisuista.
