Puhetta lastensaamisesta ja toimeentulosta : luottamuskokemukset internetin äitikeskustelupalstoilla

Tutkimuksen tehtävänä on selvittää, kuinka äitikeskustelupalstoilla keskustellaan lasten saamisesta, työstä ja sosiaaliturvasta. Tutkimuksen analyysimenetelmänä olen käyttänyt teemoittelua, jonka avulla olen etsinyt aineistosta yhtäläisyyksiä kirjoitusten välille. Olen lähestynyt kysymystä luottamuksen teoriakehyksen kautta ja etsinyt aineistosta puhetta luottamuksen rakentumisesta tai sen puutteista. Tutkimuksen aineiston muodostavat äitikeskustelupalstojen keskusteluketjut, jotka olen poiminut palstoilta aiheiden perusteella. Perehdyttämisestä perehdyttämis- ja perehtymisprosessiin

Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena oli tarkastella uuden työntekijän perehdyttämistä viestinnän ja vuorovaikutuksen näkökulmasta. Tutkimusaineisto muodostui 15 perehdyttämistä käsittelevästä opas- ja ammattikirjasta sekä viidestä perehdyttämisen asiantuntijan haastattelusta. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli rakentaa aineistolähtöistä kuvausta perehdyttämisestä pohtimalla, minkälaisiin teoreettisiin ilmiöihin tutkimuskohde aineistojen perusteella liittyy. Aineistoanalyysissa sovellettiin grounded-teorian koodausperiaatteita. Perfectionism and performance-related psychobiosocial states: The mediating role of competition appraisals.

Using the multi-states (MuSt) theory as a framework, the present study focused on the individual (personality) antecedents of psychobiosocial states. Psychobiosocial states comprise emotional subjective experiences and their correlates (cognitive, motivational, volitional, bodily, motor-behavioural, operational, and communicative), that can be functional for performance (helpful) or dysfunctional (harmful). Reciprocal commitment in academic careers? : Finnish implications and international trends

This study explores the nature of reciprocal commitment in academic careers. The article is based on a survey conducted in autumn 2013 among fixed-term employees at eight major universities in Finland (N = 810). The analysis is focusing on researchers who have a doctoral degree and who are working on a fixed-term contract at their university (n = 308). According to our study, researchers experience their working conditions are insecure and many of them have considered leaving their universities. Parental Trust in Teachers and Children’s Interest in Reading and Math: A Longitudinal Study

This study investigated cross-lagged associations between parental trust in a child’s teacher and children’s academic interest across Grades 1–4 in primary school. Parents rated trust in their child’s teacher, and 576 children reported their interest in reading and math at each grade. The results showed that high parental trust in a child’s teacher predicted the child’s high interest in math. In addition, the child’s high interest in reading in Grade 2 was related to the father’s subsequent trust in the teacher. peerReviewed
