The relationship between alluvial dynamics and control parameters such as climate are well known and understood at plurimillennial and pluriannual time-scales. But it is not really the case at multicentennial and multidecennal time-scales compatible with human society settlement time-scales. Abstract Landslide hazard assessment, effected by means of geostatistical methods, is based on the analysis of the relationships between landslides and the spatial distributions of some instability factors. Frequently such analyses are based on landslide inventories in which each record represents the entire unstable area and is managed as a single instability landform. In this research, landslide susceptibility is evaluated through the study of a variety of instability landforms: landslides, scarps and areas uphill from crown . [EN] In October of 2000, the Palància River underwent a major flood, which substantially modified the morphology of the river channel. These changes took place on a river bed previously modified by public works aimed at cleaning and simplifying the river section. The flood partially restored the braided morphology, reconstructing bars and channels. Moreover, river incision processes increased, particularly downstream the Palància bridges. This process reveals a sedimentary deficit caused by reservoirs; land use changes and gravel mining. Bakalaura darbs ,,Perfluoroktānsulfoskābes (PFOS) un tās atvasinājumu bioakumulācija Latvijas upju baseinu apgabalos’’ ar mērķi noteikt PFOS koncentrācijas Baltijas jūras piekrastes asaros Perca fluviatilis, un noskaidrot iespējamo upju pienesi kā PFOS avotu Baltijas jūrā, salīdzinot ar sateces baseinu biotas koncentrācijām. Darbā ir apkopota informācija par PFOS un tās atvasinājumu īpašībām, pārneses iespējām dabā, akumulēšanos dzīvajos organismos un veikts pasaules pētījumu apskats. The intramontane Lauca Basin at the western margin of the northern Chilean Altiplano lies to the west of and is topographically isolated from the well-known Plio-Pleistocene lake system of fluvio-lacustrine origin that covers the Bolivian Altiplano from Lake Titicaca to the north for more than 800 km to the Salar de Uyuni in the south. The Lauca Basin is filled by a sequence of some 120 m of mainly upper Miocene to Pliocene elastic and volcaniclastic sediments of lacustrine and alluvial origin. Volcanic rocks, partly pyroelastic, provide useful marker horizons. In the first period (6–4 Ma) of its evolution, the ‘Lago Lauca’ was a shallow ephemeral lake. Cuando el río Xúquer llega a la Ribera, deja el encajamiento montañoso y forma un cono aluvial que ent ra en contacto con los piedemontes originados por los relieves emergidos en las cercanías de la llanura de inundación, apareciendo unas zonas deprimidas en el punto de contacto de las dos formaciones por los perfiles opuestos que presentan.
