Abstract: Castleman's disease is an uncommon lymphoproliferative disorder that can present in both nodal and extranodal sites. The cause is unknown, but a disordered immunoregulation, which results in the excessive proliferation of B lymphocytes and plasma cells in lymphoid organs, plays a central role in the development of the condition. Three distinct histologic types (hyaline vascular, plasma cell, and mixed), and 2 anatomical variants (localized and multicentric) have been described. The lymphoepithelial cyst is a dysontogenic benign cyst originated from the epithelial remnant retained inside the lymphoid tissue during the embryogenesis that occurs in the lateral neck region and, less frequently, in the oral cavity and in the parotid gland. The parotid gland evolvement increased significantly after the HIV discovery and it is related to ductal obstruction phenomenon that goes along with a follicular hyperplasia in the periductal parotid lymph nodes. Re: ?Splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphoma associated with primary Sj�gren?s syndrome?

We describe a 67-year-old woman with primary Sjögren's syndrome who developed a splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphoma, and complained of a dry mouth and Raynaud's phenomenon. She had splenomegaly, swollen lymph nodes and monoclonal IgM-kappa cryoglobulin. After splenectomy, Raynaud's phenomenon had improved with the decrease of cryoglobulin. This is the first case of primary Sjögren's syndrome with splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphoma to be reported.

An analysis of perivascular lymphangiogenesis in patients with coronary artery disease is lacking. Electron microscopic investigations of innervation of the mesenteric lymphatic vessels ofCavia porcellus demonstrate that, besides membrane contacts between Axon and smooth muscle cell, a local direct plasmatic connection from the nature of synapses between the nerve and the effector cell have to be considered. From this study it has been concluded that also this neuromuscular junction is a transitoric structure and not a static connection comparable to the synapses in the motor end-plate of the striated muscle.
