Physical Agent Modalities in Early Osteoarthritis: A Scoping Review

Early osteoarthritis (EOA) still represents a challenge for clinicians. Although there is no consensus on its definition and diagnosis, a prompt therapeutic intervention in the early stages can have a significant impact on function and quality of life. The aim of the study was to investigate how physiotherapy students using a problem-based learning approach develop into experts during higher education, and answers the question: How do physiotherapy students at bachelor’s level understand the problem-based learning approach while learning to become professionals? This paper presents an information fusion method for image retrieval; the retrieval strategy is based on statistical and geometrical features extracted from sub-images. Our goal is to find a set of best similar images related to a prototype image; this goal may be obtained according to image content rather than symbolic attributes. In the present work a piezoelectric based structural health monitoring (SHM) system is analyzed with the aim of assessing the ability of the piezoelectric patch to detect both edge and embedded delaminations proper of flange-skin composite laminated structures. he boundary element model is developed for piezoelectric solids and is implemented by taking advantage of the multidomain technique to model laminated and cracked configurations. On the use of the EMI for the health monitoring of bonded elements

The low weight, robustness and fatigue resistance of adhesive joints make them suitable for structural joints. A fully developed nondestructive evaluation technique however is needed to monitor and assess the quality of bonded joints. Structural and electronic elucidation of a N-heterocyclic silylene vanadocene adduct

The solid and solution state structure of the vanadium(II) N‐ heterocyclic silylene (NHSi) complex, [(SiIPr)V(Cp)2] (1) is reported ( SiIPr: 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)‐1,3‐diaza‐2‐silacyclopent‐4‐ en‐2‐ylidene). The electronic structure of 1 is probed using combination of magnetic measurements, EPR spectroscopy and computational studies. The V–Si bond strength and complex forming mechanism between vanadocene and NHSi ligand is elucidated using computational methods.   peerReviewed
