We introduce a new problem domain for activity recognition: the analysis of children's social and communicative behaviors based on video and audio data. We specifically target interactions between children aged 1-2 years and an adult. Such interactions arise naturally in the diagnosis and treatment of developmental disorders such as autism. We introduce a new publicly-available dataset containing over 160 sessions of a 3-5 minute child-adult interaction. In each session, the adult examiner followed a semi-structured play interaction protocol which was designed to elicit a broad range of social behaviors. The scholar literature on simultaneous using of social capital explore knowledge and identity resources as well as actions and interactions benefiting the community through personal bonds of individuals; issues of common trust; and adapting the current understanding in new situations. In this article, we instead examine rural community influence on social capital building of adult person in a virtual community. A quantitative survey was done in 246 local rural communities in Lithuania which reflected their community activities on a virtual basis. Mineralogical variability of Callovo-Oxfordian clays from the Paris Basin and the Subalpine Basin.

High-resolution clay mineralogical data at the Middle/Upper Jurassic boundary from the French Subalpine Basin, the Jura Mountains and the Paris Basin (ANDRA boreholes) from Callovo-Oxfordian clayey deposits allow spatial and temporal terrigenous flux evolution to be considered over a period of 6 to 7 Myr. Recorded diachronisms of major mineralogical changes and complex clays distribution at the Paris Basin scale result to combined palaeogeographic/eustatic variations and climate input. How to manage forest for biodiversity conservation is an ongoing debate. We argue that maximizing biodiversity in managed forest landscapes requires a diversity of forest management regimes in space and time. This will generate high levels of habitat heterogeneity at a landscape scale, which in turn will support various groups of forest species. Based on concepts from landscape ecology, we formulate five hypotheses on how management diversity, i.e. combining various management approaches can benefit overall biodiversity across a production forest landscape. In-flight calibration of the ROSAT HRI ultraviolet sensitivity

Comparing measured and estimated count rates of a few selected sample stars, we confirm the validity and provide the in-flight calibration of the ROSAT HRI UV/visible effective area model in Zombeck et al. The count rate estimates for Betelgeuse derived with this model are in agreement with the measured HRI upper limit. This result is also confirmed in an erratum by Berghöfer et al. aimed at revising their previous calculation, which was overestimated by more than 2 orders of magnitude. Adopting this ROSAT HRI UV/visible effective area model and measured UV/visible spectra of a set of sample stars covering the range of Teff 3000-40,000 K, we have built the calibration curves to estimate UV/…
