El tratamiento neoadyuvante del cáncer de mama (CM) permite estudiar marcadores subrogados que puedan predecir respuesta clínica y supervivencia. La respuesta completa patológica (RCp) definida como la ausencia de tumor infiltrante en la mama y axila en la pieza quirúrgica se asocia a mejor supervivencia. En los tumores HER2 positivo el tratamiento de elección es la combinación de quimioterapia, antraciclinas y taxanos son los esquemas con mayor evidencia, con terapia anti-HER2 (trastuzumab (TTZ)) alcanzando tasas de RCp del 30-60%. Abstract Tastes are often described as having a nutrient-signaling function eliciting expectations about the food and its nutrient content. The objectives of this work was to investigate correlations between taste intensity and nutrient content, to evaluate the impact of competing tastes on these relationships, and to know if the content in certain nutrients could be inferred from a combination of tastes. The ongoing anthropogenically caused ozone depletion and climate change has increased the amount of biologically harmful UV-B radiation, which is detrimental to fish in embryonal stages. The effects of UV-B radiation on the levels and locations of DNA damage manifested as cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPDs), heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) and p53 protein in newly hatched embryos of pike were examined. Pike larvae were exposed in the laboratory to current and enhanced doses of UV-B radiation. UV-B exposure caused the formation of CPDs in a fluence rate-dependent manner, and the CPDs were found deeper in the tissues with increasing fluence rates.
