Chewing simulation: a way to understand the relationships between mastication, food breakdown and flavour release

International audience; Understanding in-mouth mechanisms is necessary to understand flavour release and perception phenomena. To overcome the limitations of in-vivo flavour release measurements, we developed a chewing simulator that faithfully reproduced many mouth functions. Using brittle foods, we showed that in-vitro food breakdown was very comparable to that obtained in-vivo. We also studied on model cheeses in-vitro flavour release by connecting on-line the chewing simulator to APCI-MS. Preliminary results are discussed.

Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tuottaa henkilöstön ja organisaatioiden kehittämistä tukevaa tietoa tarkastelemalla työpaikan tunneilmaston ja psykologisen turvallisuuden yhteyttä organisaation strategian toteuttamiseen. Vaikka strategian toteuttaminen on organisaatioiden kilpailukyvyn kannalta oleellista, on erityisesti määrällinen tutkimus tunteiden yhteydestä siihen vähäistä. The effect of defect location on coating fragmentation patterns under biaxial tension
2005
Fragmentation of a coating possessing orthogonal preferential crack propagation directions is modeled for equibiaxial tensile loading. Two plausible cracking scenarios are compared, caused by flaws randomly distributed over the area of the coating or along the coating fragment edges. The two fragmentation scenarios considered are shown to yield qualitatively different fragment patterns.

Šajā darbā tika izvirzīti divi pētījuma jautājumi. Kādas saistības ir novērojamas starp pašefektivitāti un darba stresu? Kādas atšķirības ir novērojamas pašefektivitātes un darba stresa vidējos rādītājos dažādās darba jomās? Pētījumā piedalījās 155 respondenti no dažādām darba jomām. Tika izdalītas astoņas darba jomas: klientu apkalpošanas joma, izglītības joma, medicīnas joma, finanšu joma, informācijas tehnoloģiju joma, mārketinga joma, būvniecības joma un skaistumkopšanas joma. Está ampliamente reconocido que la violencia de pareja tiene un elevado impacto sobre la salud integral de las mujeres. En este sentido, resulta necesario investigar tal impacto a lo largo del tiempo y evaluar qué factores contribuyen a la recuperación o deterioro de la salud. Los objetivos de esta Tesis fueron, en primer lugar, evaluar la evolución de la salud mental, principalmente: sintomatología depresiva, ansiedad, trastorno de estrés postraumático (PTSD) y suicidio, y la evolución del impacto sobre el sistema endocrino, concretamente el funcionamiento de las hormonas cortisol y dehidroepiandrosterona (DHEA) a lo largo de un periodo de tres años, y en segundo lugar, estudiar qué factor…
