Bakalaura darba tēma ir "Migrācijas ietekme uz darba tirgu Latvijā" Pētījuma izstrādes mērķis ir identificēt nozīmīgākos iemeslus un raksturot sekas migrācijai, un izstrādāt ieteikumus tās samazināšanai, kā arī izvērtēt kādas sekas migrācija atstāj uz uzņēmējdarbību. Pētījumā tiek analizēta Latvijas un Lietuvas ietekme uz Austrumu partnerības politikas attīstību to ES prezidentūras laikā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, cik lielā mērā valstis var ietekmēt liela mēroga ES iniciatīvu. Izvirzītā hipotēze: Latvija un Lietuva, izmantojot noteiktas stratēģijas un institucionālus rīkus, spēja ierobežotā apmērā ietekmēt Austrumu partnerības politikas attīstību to prezidentūru laikā. Restoration of digital visual media acquired from repositories of historical photographic and cinematographic material is of key importance for the preservation, study and transmission of the legacy of past cultures to the coming generations. In this paper, a fully automatic approach to the digital restoration of historical stereo photographs is proposed, referred to as Stacked Median Restoration plus (SMR+). The approach exploits the content redundancy in stereo pairs for detecting and fixing scratches, dust, dirt spots and many other defects in the original images, as well as improving contrast and illumination. Multi-modal Image Registration Using Fuzzy Kernel Regression

This paper presents a study aimed to the realization of a novel multiresolution registration framework. The transformation function is computed iteratively as a composition of local deformations determined by the maximization of mutual information. At each iteration, local transformations are joint together using fuzzy kernel regression. This technique represents the core of the mothod and it's formally described from a probabilistic perspective. It avoids blocking artifacts and allows to keep the final deformation spatially congruent and smooth. Daytime sensible heat flux estimation over heterogeneous surfaces using multitemporal land‐surface temperature observations

Equations based on surface renewal (SR) analysis to estimate the sensible heat flux (H) require as input the mean ramp amplitude and period observed in the ramp‐like pattern of the air temperature measured at high frequency. A SR‐based method to estimate sensible heat flux (HSR‐LST) requiring only low‐frequency measurements of the air temperature, horizontal mean wind speed, and land‐surface temperature as input was derived and tested under unstable conditions over a heterogeneous canopy (olive grove). Attraverso il lavoro di ricerca svolto in tre differenti paesi europei, è stato messo a fuoco il tema della cooperazione tra le organizzazioni no profit (ONP) e le istituzioni scolastiche nella presa in carico educativa di minori di madrelingua differente da quella del Paese ospitante. Il lavoro muove dalla convinzione che in questo periodo di rapidi e drammatici cambiamenti derivanti da trasformazioni geopolitiche in tutto il mondo, il settore no profit, con la sua politica flessibile e indipendente, possa contribuire alla stabilizzazione di una situazione che richiede grande attenzione educativa.
