Improvements in Rational Design Strategies of Inulin Derivative Polycation for siRNA Delivery.

The advances of short interfering RNA (siRNA)-mediated therapy provide a powerful option for the treatment of many diseases, including cancer, by silencing the expression of targeted genes involved in the progression of the pathology. On this regard, a new pH-responsive polycation derived from inulin, Inulin-g-imidazole-g-diethylenetriamine (INU-IMI-DETA), was designed and employed to produce INU-IMI-DETA/siRNA "Inulin COmplex Nanoaggregates" (ICONs). The experimental results showed that INU-IMI-DETA exhibited strong cationic characteristics and high solubility in the pH range 3-5 and self-aggregation triggered by pH increase and physiological salt concentration. Performances Recovery of Flax Fiber Reinforced Composites after Salt-Fog Aging Test

In the present paper, the performance recovery under conditions of discontinuous exposure to a marine environment of a natural fiber-reinforced composite (NFRC) reinforced by flax fibers was assessed. In particular, this laminate was initially exposed to salt-fog for 15 and 30 days, and then stored in a controlled air condition for up to 21 days. The flax fiber-reinforced composite showed coupled reversible and irreversible aging phenomena during the wet stage, as well as evidencing a significant mechanical recovery during the dry stage. Ks. Karol Koziołek, proboszcz parafii w Grabinie koło Prudnika, to jeden z czołowych działaczy polskiego ruchu narodowego na Śląsku Opolskim. W 1928 r. został posłem do sejmiku prowincjonalnego. Ubiegał się także, chociaż bezskutecznie, o mandat do sejmu pruskiego i parlamentu Rzeszy Niemieckiej. W latach 1930–1935 sprawował funk-cję prezesa Dzielnicy I Związku Polaków w Niemczech. Z ogromnym zaangażowaniem działał na rzecz zachowania języka polskiego w Kościele. Melanokortīna otrā tipa receptora un tā palīgproteīna ekspresija rauga Pichia Pastoris ekspresijas sistēmā

Darba ietvaros tika izveidots pPIC9K- MC2R-T4L ekspresijas konstrukts, kas tika ekspresēts P.Pastoris sistēmā. Western blot analīze uzrādīja nepieciešamās molekulmasas zonu. MC2R-T4L izdevās attīrīt uz His- un Ha-tag afinitātes kolonnām. Lai noteiktu funkcionāla MC2R struktūru, to nepiecieciešams ekspresēt kompleksā ar MRAP, tādēļ tika izveidoti vairāki MC2-MRAP konstrukti, ko tālāk izmantot proteīna ekspresijai P. Pastoris šūnās. To aktivitāte tika pārbaudīta zīdītāju šūnu līnijās nosakot cAMP daudzuma izmaiņas pēc stimulācijas ar ACTH (1-24).
