L’objet de cette étude est de mesurer la discrimination à l’embauche à l’encontre des jeunes en Ile-de-France en raison du lieu de résidence en considérant plusieurs échelles spatiales de façon à distinguer l’effet de la réputation du département (Paris et la Seine-Saint-Denis), celui de la localité et celui du quartier. Children's perception of emotion in music : a cross-cultural study

Previous research revealed that Western lullabies and children’s songs are mostly in the major mode, and children demonstrate a positive-major/negative-minor connotation that conforms to the conventional stereotype. The aim in this current study is to analyze the same topic in Finland and Iran where most lullabies are in the minor mode. The overarching question addressed is whether or not cultural background and the music mode, a child tends to be exposed to early in life affects later emotional responses to different music modes. The aim of the study is to examine the Saami book history in the context of Finland in order to understand its evolution from 1820 to 1920. The study focuses on books and other printed materials in Saami language(s) (or idioms) and it looks into archival documents to throw light on their intellectual history. The Saami book history has unfolded slowly, and occasionally, it has appeared to fall into decline. The present study follows the French school of book history that uses multidisciplinary methods to examine books as a reflection of ideology in the context of a given culture at a given time. Darba nosaukums ir “Rīgas iedzīvotāju viedoklis par toleranci pret LGBT”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot Rīgas iedzīvotāju viedokli par toleranci pret LGBT. Darbā tika izvirzītas divas hipotēzes: 1) Rīgas iedzīvotāji, kuriem ir augstāks zināšanu līmenis par LGBT, ir tolerantāki pret kopienu; 2) Rīgas iedzīvotāji, kuru paziņu lokā ir vairāk LGBT personas, ir tolerantāki. Artykuł jest próbą naświetlenia zagadnienia rozwoju kultury pamięci mniejszości niemieckiej na Górnym Śląsku po 1989 r., zamieszkującej obszar polsko-czeskoniemieckiego pogranicza kulturowego. Tekst wskazuje, że rozwój kultury pamięci polskich Niemców, realizował się równolegle do procesu tworzenia się struktur mniejszości. Kulturę pamięci mniejszości niemieckiej, a generalnie pamięć tej zbiorowości, budowano w opozycji do przyjętego w Polsce nurtu postrzegania przeszłości, w szczególności w obszarze polsko-niemieckich relacji w ubiegłym wieku. This article is based on language biographies acquired as part of the Polish-German LangGener project. Based on the assumption that biographical research may turn out to be cognitively interesting when analyzing identity and attitude towards the language, the purpose of the article is to reconstruct the identity of German-born Upper Silesians, whose identity, as a result of shifting borders after World War II and changing the prevailing language, is not static and whose language biographies are marked by the experience of a lack of continuity and cracks.
