Tässä tutkielmassa on omaksuttu Thornburyn (1991:1) määritelmä kieliopista tietyn kielen erilaisten mahdollisten rakenteiden ja muotojen tutkimuksena. The intention of this paper is to show how Semiotic Textology, the theory elaborated by the Hungarian linguist János Sándor Petőfi, can be considered the acme in the development of text research. In order to perform this task, firstly text research is presented and its historical genesis is shown. Secondly the disciplinary status of text linguistics is discussed. Metabolic Reprogramming of Innate Immune Cells as a Possible Source of New Therapeutic Approaches in Autoimmunity.

Immune cells undergo different metabolic pathways or immunometabolisms to interact with various antigens. Immunometabolism links immunological and metabolic processes and is critical for innate and adaptive immunity. Although metabolic reprogramming is necessary for cell differentiation and proliferation, it may mediate the imbalance of immune homeostasis, leading to the pathogenesis and development of some diseases, such as autoimmune diseases. Here, we discuss the effects of metabolic changes in autoimmune diseases, exerted by the leading actors of innate immunity, and their role in autoimmunity pathogenesis, suggesting many immunotherapeutic approaches.

ANOTĀCIJA Promocijas darbs veltīts Latvijas tautsaimniecībai aktuālu farmaceitiski aktīvo vielu (FAV) izpētei. Veikti apskatīto vielu kristālsolvātu meklējumi un iegūtas līdz šim neaprakstītas vielu kristāliskās formas. Novērtēta iegūto formu stabilitāte iegūšanas, ražošanas un uzglabāšanas apstākļos. Atsevišķām FAV veikta struktūras noteikšana, gan izmantojot pulvera rentgendifraktometriju, gan monokristālu rentgendifraktometriju. Iegūtie rezultāti ir aktuāli zāļu ražotājiem, kā arī tiem ir zinātniska nozīme no FAV īpašību apzināšanas un metožu attīstības viedokļa. Analyse du caractère dynamique des recommandations dans l'industrie cinématographique : le cas des franchises de films

The release of motion picture sequels by studios led to the emergence of interaction effects between sequels over the time and in consequence altering models predicting the box office. If some scholars have examined these interaction effects, they were limited to the box office revenues. The paper proposes an extension of the interaction effects to third-party recommendations. The results – covering 123 sequels – demonstrate the dynamic and persistent nature of the recommendations.
QCD NLO with Powheg matching and top threshold matching in WHIZARD

We present the status of the automation of NLO processes within the event generator WHIZARD. The program provides an automated FKS subtraction and phase space integration over the FKS regions, while the (QCD) NLO matrix element is accessed via the Binoth Les Houches Interface from an externally linked one-loop program. Massless and massive test cases and validation are shown for several e+e- processes. Furthermore, we discuss work in progress and future plans. The second part covers the matching of the NRQCD prediction with NLL threshold resummation to the NLO continuum top pair production at lepton colliders. Ammattikorkeakoulujen lakisääteisessä tehtävässä korostuvat työelämän tarpeisiin vastaaminen, alueellinen kehittäminen ja yhteistyö elinkeino- ja muun työelämän kanssa. Laki kehystää toimintaa mutta jättää tilaa tulkinnoille. Pohdimme tulkintoja tiedosta, osaamisesta, tutkimuksesta ja ammattikorkeakoulun yhteiskunnallisesta tehtävästä. Perustamme tarkastelun antiikin filosofin Aristoteleen klassiseen erotteluun tiedon muodoista ja saksalaisen kriittisen yhteiskuntafilosofin Jürgen Habermasin teoriaan tiedon yhteiskunnallisista intresseistä. Rakennamme kaksi lähestymistapaa ammattikorkeakoulutukseen, tutkimukseen ja ammattikorkeakoulun yhteiskunnalliseen tehtävään: rajattu ja laaja näkemys. …
