Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin nuorten ja kokeneiden opettajien kokemuksia kodin ja koulun välisestä yhteistyöstä. Kodin ja koulun yhteistyötä on selvitetty asenteiden ja käytäntöjen näkökulmasta, mutta tutkimuksesta on puuttunut kriittisempi ote. Tämä tutkimus tuo uutta näkökulmaa aiheeseen tarkastelemalla nuorten opettajien kokemuk-sia yhteistyöstä sekä vertailemalla nuorten ja kokeneiden opettajien kokemuksia. This study investigate dobstacles to encounters with staff as experienced by parents in the context of institutional pre-primary education in Finland. The study contributes to education research by exploring parents’ perceptions and experiences of encounters with staff from the perspectives of Buber’s (1923/1987; 1947/2002) dialogic philosophy and Giorgi`s (1994) phenomenological psychology. Relational expertise among Finnish educators working in extended hours ECEC

This study examined discourses and positions produced by educators (n = 31) on the topics of teamwork and professional expertise in extended hours early childhood education and care (ECEC). Theoretically, we follow the ideas of relational expertise and common knowledge. Previous research provides that relational expertise and creating common knowledge are useful in ECEC contexts, especially in teamwork. Research on drama work among non-speech persons with cognitive, functional and interaction impairments is scarce. This pilot study describes a type of drama suitable for special education and care, in which daily care providers step into a sensory story with their disabled pairs. Predator response to the coloured eyespots and defensive posture of Colombian four‐eyed frogs

Deimatic displays, where sudden changes in prey appearance elicit aversive predator reactions, have been suggested to occur in many taxa. These (often only putative) displays frequently involve different components that may also serve antipredator functions via other mechanisms (e.g., mimicry, warning signalling, body inflation).
