A series of titanium and vanadium complexes with oxazoline 2-(4,5-dihydro-1,3-oxazol-2-yl)phenol (L1), 2-(4-methyl-4,5-dihydro-1,3-oxazol-2-yl)phenol (L2), and oxazine 2-(5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-oxazin-2-yl)phenol (L3) ligands were synthesized, and their structures were determined by NMR and MS methods as (L)2MtCl2. Frecuencia de dientes supernumerarios en una población mexicana

Los dientes supernumerarios (DS) son una anomalía del desarrollo que no se observa con frecuencia (del 0.3 al 3.8% de la población). En este estudio, se analizaron las ortopantomografías correspondientes a 2241 pacientes, de ambos sexos quienes acudieron a la Clínica de Admisión de la División de Estudios de Posgrado e Investigación, Facultad de Odontología, UNAM en la ciudad de México D.F. De ellos, se encontraron 72 pacientes (3.2%) con 102 DS. De los 72 pacientes, 39 fueron hombres (54.2%) y 33 mujeres (45.8%). Konemusiikkikulttuurissa ilmenevää yhteisöllisyyttä on tutkittu Suomessa melko vähän. Tutkimuksessani olen pyrkinyt selvittämään kuinka konemusiikin harrastajat kokevat yhteisöllisyyden sekä kuinka yhteisöllisyys ilmenee ja miten sitä ylläpidetään. Kyseessä oli kvalitatiivinen eli laadullinen tutkimus. Toteutin tutkimuksen survey-tutkimuksena teemahaastattelun muodossa, jota varten haastattelin kahta konemusiikin harrastajaa sähköpostitse. Haastateltavien kertomusten perusteella yhteisöllisyys koetaan yhteenkuuluvuuden tunteena, yhdessä tekemisen ja välittämisenä kautta sekä hyvänä olona ja ilmapiirinä. Reactive Compatibilization of PBT/EVA Blends with an Ethylene-Acrylic Acid Copolymer and a Low Molar Mass Bis-Oxazoline

Polyesters and polyolefins form highly incompatible blends with poor properties and gross morphology that hinder any practical applications. In this work, the possibility to compatibilize an incompatible blend of poly(butylene terephthalate) (PBT) with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) by adding a bis-oxazoline compound, 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)-bis(2-oxazoline) (PBO), and an ethylene acrylic acid copolymer (EAA) as compatibilizer precursors has been studied. The results indicate that the binary uncompatibilized blends show poor mechanical properties and a bad morphology with scarce adhesion between the phases. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and potentially malignant oral disorders (OPMDs) could be associated with low levels of vitamin D. This systematic review aimed to determine the relationship between serum levels of vitamin D with OPMDs and OSCC. This review was conducted according to Cochrane guidelines (PROSPERO CRD42020207382) on literature retrieved from the PubMed, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases. The antecedents extracted were study design, methodology, sample (country, number of patients, age, and sex), oral manifestations (type of lesion, location, prevalence, and follow-up), serum vitamin D levels or use of vitamin D supplements, results, and conclusions.
