Adolescent and young adult cancer survivors may experience various forms of social difficulties years or even decades after completing their cancer treatments. This article will hopefully help the Italian national project dedicated to adolescents and young adults with cancer promoting political and legal solutions to stop discrimination and supporting the right to be forgotten.

In Australia, the immediate post-school period (known as ‘Schoolies’) is associated with heavy drinking and high levels of alcohol-related harm. This study investigated students’ intended alcohol consumption during Schoolies to inform interventions to reduce alcohol-related harm among this group. An online survey was administered to students in their senior year of schooling. Included items related to intended daily alcohol consumption during Schoolies, amount of money intended to be spent on alcohol over the Schoolies period, and past drinking behaviour. There is consensus in health studies that regular physical activities of sufficient intensity and duration contribute to better health both in the short and long term. In an ongoing research program, we focus on getting the young elderly, the 60-75 years age group, to adopt and include physical activities as part of their daily routines. One reason for addressing young elderly is large numbers – in Finland health care costs for the elderly was 3.7 B€ in 2019 and will increase dramatically if the young elderly group is in bad shape when they reach the 75+ age group. Mikrobioma traucējumi ietekmē imūnsistēmas funkcijas, vielmaiņu, kā arī saistīti ar dažādām slimībām. MikroRNS (miRNS) ir nozīmīga loma gēnu ekspresijas regulēšanā. Piedošana un sēru izpausmes sievietēm pēc perinatālā zaudējuma

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saikni starp piedošanas dimensijām (piedošana sev, piedošana citiem un piedošana situācijām), sēru simptomiem un zaudējuma raksturlielumiem sievietēm pēc perinatālā zaudējuma. Kā arī noskaidrot kādā mērā piedošana un zaudējuma raksturlielumi prognozē sēru simptomus. Pētījuma respondentu izlasi veido 440 sievietes, vecumā no 20 līdz 45. gadiem, kur vidējais vecums ir 33,2 gadi. Lai mērītu piedošanu, tika izmantota Hartlenda piedošanas skala (Heartland Forgiveness Scale, Thompson & Snyder, 2003), kuru Latvijā adaptējusi Vendija Balode, 2017. gadā.
