Maģistra darbā tiek pētīts, kādas ir pašvaldību iespējas sniegt lokālu atbalstu ģimenēm ar bērniem savu funkciju ietvaros, analizējot un salīdzinot trīs Latvijas novadus, lai uz tā pamata izdarītu slēdzienus, kas sniegtu pienesumu pašvaldību atbalsta politikas izpratnes veicināšanai. Darba mērķis ir izvērtēt pašvaldības iespējas autonomās kompetences realizēšanai ģimeņu ar bērniem atbalstā, tādējādi uzlabojot vispārējo demogrāfisko situāciju novadā, nodrošinot pašvaldības ilgtermiņa attīstību un izaugsmi. ABSTRACT The epigenetic status of integrated adenovirus type 12 (Ad12) DNA in hamster cells cultivated for about 4 decades has been investigated. Cell line TR12, a fibroblastic revertant of the Ad12-transformed epitheloid hamster cell line T637 with 15 copies of integrated Ad12 DNA, carries one Ad12 DNA copy plus a 3.9-kbp fragment from a second copy. The cellular insertion site for the Ad12 integrate, identical in both cell lines, is a >5.2-kbp inverted DNA repeat. The Ad12 transgenome is packaged around nucleosomes. The Be/X-ray transient 4U0115+63/V635 Cassiopeiae : II. Outburst mechanisms

We present multi-wavelength long-term monitoring observations of V635 Cas, the optical counterpart to the transient X-ray pulsar 4U0115+63. The evolution of emission lines and photometric magnitudes indicates that the Be star undergoes relatively fast ( ~3 - 5yr) quasi-cyclic activity, losing and reforming its circumstellar disc. We show that the general optical, infrared and X-ray behaviour can be explained by the dynamical evolution of the viscous circumstellar disc around the Be star. After each disc-loss episode, the disc starts reforming and grows until it reaches the radius at which the resonant interaction of the neutron star truncates it. The 30 Year Search for the Compact Object in SN 1987A

Despite more than 30 years of searches, the compact object in Supernova (SN) 1987A has not yet been detected. We present new limits on the compact object in SN 1987A using millimeter, near-infrared, optical, ultraviolet, and X-ray observations from ALMA, VLT, HST, and Chandra. The limits are approximately 0.1 mJy ($0.1\times 10^{-26}$ erg s$^{-1}$ cm$^{-2}$ Hz$^{-1}$) at 213 GHz, 1 Lsun ($6\times 10^{-29}$ erg s$^{-1}$ cm$^{-2}$ Hz$^{-1}$) in optical if our line-of-sight is free of ejecta dust, and $10^{36}$ erg s$^{-1}$ ($2\times 10^{-30}$ erg s$^{-1}$ cm$^{-2}$ Hz$^{-1}$) in 2-10 keV X-rays. Finding clusters in point clouds and matching graphs to graphs are recurrent tasks in computer science domain, data analysis, image processing, that are most often modeled as NP-hard optimization problems. With the development and accessibility of cheap multiprocessors, acceleration of the heuristic procedures for these tasks becomes possible and necessary. In plants, long distance transport of sugars from photosynthetic source leaves to sink organs comprises different crucial steps depending on the species and organ types. Sucrose, the main carbohydrate for long distance transport is synthesized in the mesophyll and then loaded into the phloem. After long distance transport through the phloem vessels, sucrose is finally unloaded towards sink organs.
