Audiovisual Translation (AVT) has a scientific responsibility to develop analytical methodologies for the textual phenomenon of multimodality, and for the translation strategies associated with it. At the same time, it should aim to provide studies of universal accessibility with a powerful tool for facilitating access to knowledge. This work is the continuation of Part 1, published in 2015, and comprises the reconstruction of the original collections of new taxa described by R. Pampanini and other botanists and, where possible, typification of the new names and taxonomical updating. The material studied for the most part concerns Libyan specimens held in the FI and FI-W herbaria but in some case also K, LD, MPU, P, PAD, PAL, ULT. Other material, which Pampanini studied in Florence was subsequently conserved in other herbaria. Specimens belonging to 21 families have been examined, from the Najadaceae to Zygophyllaceae. This article is a critical introduction to the Italian translation of Meyer's Canova monograph (1898), it focuses on the editorial process and on the use of photography during this early stage of popular art history. Further consideration is given to Meyer's critical point of view in the context of the German fin-de-siècle art discourse (Burckhardt, Springer, Bode, Wölfflin, Hildebrand).

Il percorso museologico del nuovo Museo della Chiesa Madre di Alcamo. Analisi storico critica delle principali opere del percorso espositivo che ricoprono un ambito cronologico che va dal XVI secolo alla prima metà del XIX. Il contributo diffonde un’immagine della città di Alcamo poco conosciuta, evidenziandone la qualità del patrimonio artistico contestualizzato nelle più ampie rotte culturali regionali e nazionali. L'autore del contributo è anche ideatore e curatore scientifico del percorso espositivo del Museo.

Il percorso museologico e il catalogo delle opere esposte nel nuovo museo della Basilica Santa Maria Assunta di Alcamo. Le opere censite e presentate nel catalogo ricoprono un ambito cronologico che va dalla fine del XIV secolo alla prima metà del XX e contribuiscono a diffondere un’immagine della città di Alcamo poco conosciuta, evidenziandone la qualità del patrimonio artistico, contestualizzandolo nelle più ampie rotte culturali regionali e nazionali.
