The paper is related to the analysis of shape distortions and springback effects arising in Single Point Incremental Forming. An experimental set up has been designed and manufactured to carry single point incremental forming on small size sheet metal parts. The experimental set up is mounted on 3-axes CNC milling machine tool and the forming tool is attached and move with the spindle. Tillage, especially in semiarid Mediterranean environment, enhances the mineralization process of soil organic matter (SOM) and, in turn, decreases aggregate stability. Furthermore, continuous tillage leads to the formation of plough pan beneath the tilled layer. In the present study, we investigated the effect of an innovative self-propelled machine (spading machine, SM) for shallow tillage on SOM, water stable aggregates (WSA) and soil penetration resistance (PR). Such effects were compared to those of chisel plough (CP), rotary tiller (RT) and no tillage (NT). Performances of the Fault Decoupling Device when unbalanced and multiple faults occur on distribution systems.

Nowadays industrial processes are largely based on electronic devices such as programmable logic controllers and adjustable speed drives. Consequently, industrial equipments became less tolerant towards power supply disturbances. Voltage dips due to faults are surely among the worst disturbances for industrial equipments. A paper machine can be affected by disturbances of only 10% voltage drop lasting for 100 ms. A voltage dip of 75% (of the nominal voltage) with a duration shorter than 100 ms results in material loss in the range of thousands of US Dollars for semiconductors industry [1].

Behavior of carbohydrate-based material in black liquor during heating

One industrial softwood Kraft black liquor was heat-treated (at 175 ?C and 190 ?C for 15-60 min) together with laboratory-made soda-AQ (wheat straw and reed canary grass) and Kraft (reed canary grass) black liquors (at 190 ?C for 30 min). The feedstock black liquors were characterized with respect to their polysaccharide (mainly xylem) and aliphatic carboxylic acid contents before and after the heat treatments.
