Putnam’s Monthly (1853-1857) was one of the best literary and general interest magazines in antebellum America. Encapsulation of cytochrome C by multilayer microcapsules. A model for improved enzyme immobilization

Cytochrome C was used as a model compound to study the behavior of proteins during the encapsulation procedure in alginate microcapsules and the loss by diffusion during storage. Alginate gel beads were coated with a multilayer membrane consisting of alternating layers of poly(N-vinylamine) and poly(acrylic acid) or water soluble anionic cellulose derivatives, respectively. To obtain high encapsulation yields, it is recommended to use the lowest possible concentration of salts in the precipitation bath. Loss during storage (and use) is minimized by applying at least two polycation/polyanion double layers for the membrane. Cellulose derivatives are superior over poly(acrylic acid). Single la…

Lai gan netrūkst pētījumu par jautājumiem, kas saistīti ar ātro modi, ilgtspējīgu patēriņu, plašsaziņas līdzekļiem un pārliecinošo diskursu, ir salīdzinoši nedaudz pētījumu, kuros pievērsta uzmanība ātrās modes pārliecinošajai valodai, salīdzinot to ar ilgtspējīgu patēriņu.Tādēļ bakalaura darba mērķis ir noteikt pārliecināšanas līdzekļus, kas tiek lietoti, diskutējot par ātrās modes un ilgtspējības tēmām. Pētījums ir veikts, izmantojot satura analīzi. Pellets based on polyuronates: Relationship between gelation and release properties

International audience; Three polyuronates: amidated low methoxyl pectin (ALMP), low methoxyl pectin (LMP) and polygalacturonic acid (PGA) were used to encapsulate rutin in pellets, and they were characterized by different techniques (macroscopic properties, Calcium and rutin release). The ability of the three polyuronates to bind calcium ions and the viscoelastic properties of gels were performed to relate the properties of the pellets to the gel structures. The pellets size, the water content, the water uptake, the release of calcium and rutin varied depending on the polyuronate used.
