The Two-Nucleon System beyond the Pion Threshold
2003
A model is developed for the hadronic and electromagnetic interaction in the two-nucleon system above pion threshold in the framework of meson, nucleon and Δ degrees of freedom. It is based on time-ordered perturbation theory and includes full meson retardation in potentials and exchange currents as well as loop contributions to the nucleonic one-body current. Results for some selected processes are discussed.
A phenomenological quark current for the study of the polarized structure function of the nucleon
1995
In the context of the quark model, a phenomenological expression for the electromagnetic interaction is derived in order to study the polarized structure function of the nucleon. The DHG value without hyperfine corrections and the asymptotic behaviour are reproduced.
Long-Distance Magnetic Interaction of Exchange-Coupled Copper Dimers with Nitronyl Nitroxide and tert-Butyl Nitroxide Radicals
2009
To study long-distance magnetic interactions between exchange-coupled metal centers and coordinated radical moieties, two new homodimetallic Cu(II) complexes held together by the chelating ligand L(nPr) = N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(N-propyl-2-benzimidazolyl)-2-hydroxy-1,3-diaminopropane and additionally bridged by either a nitronyl nitroxide (NIT) or a tert-butyl nitroxide (NOA) radical-substituted benzoate have been prepared. The complexes have been investigated by X-ray crystallography, magnetic susceptibility measurements, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. For comparison additionally the related copper dimer with the bridging di…
Molecular Engineering To Control the Magnetic Interaction between Single-Chain Magnets Assembled in a Two-Dimensional Network
2012
International audience; Two two-dimensional (2D) systems having the formula [{Fe-III(dmbpy)(CN)(4)}(2)(CoL)-L-II](n) [L = pyetNO (1), tvpNO (2)] and consisting of single-chain magnets connected through organic ligands (L) have been prepared, and their magnetic properties have been investigated. The overall magnetic behavior depends on the capacity of the organic pillars to transmit long-range magnetic interactions. 1 is the first example of a 2D compound exhibiting double relaxation of the magnetization, whereas 2 behaves as a metamagnet.
