A novel noise figure and gain test set for microwave devices

A new instrument for the measurement of noise and gain of microwave devices is presented. It differs from the commercial ones in the accomplishment of the gain measurement and is also useful for measuring mismatched devices such as transistors, The instrument is driven via HP-IB by a PC and a user-friendly virtual panel is designed to perform all the required operations. Also included is the possibility of removing the second-stage noise contribution and correcting various sources of error (source ENR variations, temperature variations, etc.). In the present research I will analyze the reactions and opinions of the interviewed persons regarding the main methods used in audience measurement of mass media channels and also it will be analyzed the types, the results and the impact. At the same time, it is aimed at bringing in a connection between the results of audience surveys and the communication strategies developed by public and private companies. Thereby, I will use the interview as a qualitative research method, to confirm or infirm the hypothesis of the present research.
Auditory distance perception in an acoustic pipe

In a study of auditory distance perception, we investigated the effects of exaggeration the acoustic cue of reverberation where the intensity of sound did not vary noticeably. The set of stimuli was obtained by moving a sound source inside a 10.2-m long pipe having a 0.3-m diameter. Twelve subjects were asked to listen to a speech sound while keeping their head inside the pipe and then to estimate the egocentric distance from the sound source using a magnitude production procedure. Abstract Interpreting and simulating hydrological processes need a large number of field saturated soil hydraulic conductivity, Kfs , data that should be collected with simple and rapid field experiments. A Simplified method based on a Beerkan Infiltration run (SBI method) was recently developed and tested successfully on Burundian soils. With the SBI method, a cylinder is inserted to a short depth into the soil and the infiltration time of a few small volumes of water repeatedly applied at the surface of the confined soil is measured. Die Polykondensation von Hexamethylolmelamin bei 110°C bis 150°C in Platintiegeln und im Stickstoffstrom erfolgt ohne ein Schmelzen der weisen, pulverigen Proben. Es wird hierbei der Gewichtsverlust, sowie quantitativ der abgespaltene Formaldehyd und das abgespaltene Wasser bestimmt. Aus den Elementaranalysen der Polykondensate einerseits, sowie dem Gewichtsverlust und den Spaltprodukten andererseits, lassen sich fur den durchschnittlichen Grundbaustein der Polykondensate innerhalb einer gewissen Streuung ubereinstimmende Summenformeln ableiten. Abstract Background Apart from the cranio-cervical flexion test and the deep neck flexor endurance test, evidence related to reliability of cervical movement control dysfunction tests is lacking.
