Storie di famiglie e memoria storica: l'Archivio Boncompagni Ludovisi

Ripercorrendo brevemente la storia delle famiglie Boncompagni, Ludovisi e Gesualdo, l’Autore intende mostrare come le modalità di conservazione delle fonti condizionino la memoria storica; in particolare, il processo di selezione demografica ha portato ad una collocazione subalterna della documentazione relativa alle famiglie estinte, sanzionando il primato delle famiglie sopravvissute nella memoria storica e, quindi, restituendo una realtà storica deformata.

Le teorie sulla memoria tengono conto sia della struttura della memoria che dei processi operanti al suo interno. Con il termine struttura ci si riferisce al modo in cui è organizzata la memoria, mentre con il termine processi si fa riferimento alle attività che si verificano all'interno della memoria. Apprendimento e memoria implicano una serie di stadi distinti. Il primo stadio noto come codifica, si riferisce a tutti quei fenomeni che hanno luogo durante la presentazione dell'informazione da ricordare. Il secondo stadio riguarda l'immagazzinamento delle informazioni come conseguenza del processo di codifica. Il terzo e ultimo stadio è il recupero delle informazioni immagazzinate.

Mourning Missing Migrants: Ambiguous Loss and the Grief of Strangers

While the term missing refers to various instances and practices, we focus on the bodies of deceased migrants that remain unidentified, and on the inability of families to mourn someone when there is no body to grieve for. We deploy some ethnographic fragments of how Italian communities sometimes mourn those who are buried without a name and we describe the many problems of mourning someone whose fate is unknown through a discussion of the notion of ‘ambiguous loss’. Our contribution articulates some of the politics around deaths in migration by considering how missing migrants and their bodies are mourned in multiplicity. peerReviewed
Memorializing mass deaths at the border: two cases from Canberra (Australia) and Lampedusa (Italy)

In this paper, we compare two seemingly very similar instances in which individuals and organizations within the borders of the global North have memorialized the deaths of irregular migrants at sea: the SIEV X memorial in Australia’s national capital Canberra, and the Giardino della memoria (Garden of Remembrance) on the Italian island of Lampedusa. Unlike ephemeral manifestations of grief, potentially these memorials have effects that reach well beyond their creation. Tutkielma kartoittaa itsemurhan esiintyvyyttä modernissa ja jälkimodernissa taiteessa ja pyrkii luomaan typologian niistä erinäisistä rooleista, joissa itsemurhan representaatio tällä reilun sadan vuoden aikajanalla esiintyy. Itsemurhan näkyvyydestä taiteessa tehty aiempi tutkimus on vähäistä ja painottuu modernismia edeltäneeseen taiteeseen, joten tutkielma pyrkii muodostamaan kokonaiskuvaa niukasti tutkitusta aihepiiristä. Estados funcionales de los linfocitos Tgamma delta en sangre periférica en pacientes con cáncer de colon ANTECEDENTES: El cáncer de colon es uno de los tumores más frecuentes y que más mortalidad causa a nivel mundial. Sabemos que el sistema inmune (SI) es uno de los principales reguladores en el desarrollo de las neoplasias y la capacidad de memoria de los linfocitos T es considerada crítica en la respuesta duradera frente al cáncer. Nel saggio sono indagati i multiformi significati e le diverse declinazioni attribuite agli spazi domestici nella produzione di Giorgio Caproni. Partendo dalla disamina di "La Maliarda" e passando in rassegna altri racconti caproniani, vengono individuate alcune costanti tematiche e la funzione meta narrativa associata al topos della terrazza. Essa, territorio di confine tra terra, mare e cielo, è infatti luogo privilegiato delle “città dell’anima”, è spazio del paradosso, della memoria e, soprattutto, luogo della narrazione.
