Performance evaluation of non volatile memories with a low cost and portable automatic test equipment

This paper presents a versatile and portable test equipment, called portable ATE for research and development of non-volatile memories functionalities. The system is based on STM32-NUCLEO assembled with a custom designed daughter board, in order to host non-volatile memories test-chips, to manage the needed power supplies and generate suitable signals stimuli for correct operations. The system is controlled and programmed by a personal computer, via USB interface. Adult age differences in inhibitory processes and their predictive validity for fluid intelligence.

According to the inhibition-deficit hypothesis age differences in working memory capacity and fluid intelligence have been attributed to a decline in inhibitory efficiency. Conceptualizing inhibition as multifaceted, 88 participants (49 younger and 39 elderly) completed two versions of the negative priming paradigm (identification and localization), and two variants of the directed forgetting paradigm (listwise and itemwise). Two tasks of the Wechsler Intelligence Test with high loadings on general fluid intelligence (Gf) served as validation criteria. Comparison of parallel implementation of some multi-level Schwarz methods for singularly perturbed parabolic problems

Abstract Parallel multi-level algorithms combining a time discretization and an overlapping domain decomposition technique are applied to the numerical solution of singularly perturbed parabolic problems. Two methods based on the Schwarz alternating procedure are considered: a two-level method with auxiliary “correcting” subproblems as well as a three-level method with auxiliary “predicting” and “correcting” subproblems. Moreover, modifications of the methods using time extrapolation on subdomain interfaces are investigated. A Generalization of Girod's Bidirectional Decoding Method to Codes with a Finite Deciphering Delay

Girod’s encoding method has been introduced in order to efficiently decode from both directions messages encoded by using finite prefix codes. In the present paper, we generalize this method to finite codes with a finite deciphering delay. In particular, we show that our decoding algorithm can be realized by a deterministic finite transducer. We also investigate some properties of the underlying unlabeled graph.

Hyplets - Multi Exception Level Kernel towards Linux RTOS

This paper presents the concept of a Multi-Exception level operating system. We add a hypervisor awareness to the Linux kernel and execute code in hyp exception level. We do that through the use of Hyplets. Hyplets are an innovative way to code interrupt service routines under ARM. Hyplets provide high performance, security, running time predictability, an RPC mechanism and a possible solution for the priority inversion problem. Hyplets uses special features of ARM8va hypervisor memory architecture.

Compact and Field Portable Biophotonic Sensors for Automated Cell Identification (Plenary Address)

In this Plenary address paper, we overview recently published work for automated cell identification using 3D optical imaging in compact and field portable biophotonic sensors. Digital holographic microscopy systems and lensless pseudorandom phase encoding systems capture 3D information of biological cells and make highly accurate automated cell identification possible. Overviewed systems include sickle cell disease diagnosis based on spatio-temporal cell dynamics in a field-portable 3D-printed shearing digital holography as well as lensless cell identification of both single and multicell samples using pseudorandom phase encoding.

International audience; In previous works, we have demonstrated the importance of dynamic mode testing of SRAM components under ionizing radiation. Several types of failures are difficult to expose when the device is tested under static (retention) mode. On familiarity deficits in mild cognitive impairment: A reply to Migo and Westerberg

ABSTRACTIn this brief response to Migo and Westerberg we explain why we think that their criticism of our previous research showing familiarity deficits in mild cognitive impairment patients (MCI) is not sound. More concretely, we have replicated the effect several times previously, and we justify statistically the fact that in the previous paper we had to combine two MCI samples to demonstrate a reliable familiarity deficit.
