Minkälaista ontologista ajattelua Merleau-Ponty kehitteli myöhäisfilosofiassaan? Tarkastelen seuraavassa Merleau-Pontyn ontologian hahmotelmaa ennen kaikkea keskeneräiseksi jääneen ja postuumisti julkaistun teoksen Le visible et l’invisible (1964) muotoilujen pohjalta. Selkeytän Merleau-Pontyn teksteissä tulkinnanvaraiseksi jäänyttä lihan ontologista ulottuvuutta kahden hänen myöhäisfilosofiassaan keskeisen käsitteen, kaksoiskosketuksen ja käännettävyyden, avulla. Following a phenomenological understanding of the body and embodiment, this paper explores corporeal ethics as a practice in organisations. With the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty, bodily dimensions and enfleshed intercorporeality are seen as media for ethically enacted and morally responsive, thus responsible forms of practicing and relationships. Then the article discusses specific forms of responsive and caring practices as well as the ethical relevance of bodies at work in organisations. Finally, practical, political, and theoretical implications are offered and perspectives for further investigating and incorporating practicing of ethics in organisations are outlined. peerReviewed

Celem artykułu jest określenie w sposób szkicowy, czym jest ciało własne (le corps propre) w Fenomenologii percepcji, głównym dziele Merleau-Ponty’ego, oraz ukazanie sporu pomiędzy Merleau-Ponty’m (oraz Husserlem) a Sartre’m odnośnie zjawiska tak zwanego podwójnego doznania i związanej z nim możliwości równoczesnego powiązania ciała jako bryły cielesnej (der Körper) z ciałem odczuwanym (der Leib), a także zajęcie stanowiska sytuującego się – wbrew większości komentarzy – po stronie Sartre’a. On the transcendental undercurrents of phenomenology: the case of the living body

AbstractToday the phenomenological concept of the lived body figures centrally in several philosophical and special scientific debates. In these wide and widening fields, the concept is used with multiple different meanings. In order to clarify and delineate the debates, this paper provides an explication of the phenomenological-transcendental methods. It argues that these methods help us remove the most fundamental ambiguities of the concept of embodiment by distinguishing between the main constituents of the lived body and by illuminating their mutual relations.
