Päätöspuihin perustuvia menetelmiä ollaan käytetty laajasti koneoppimisen eri tehtävissä. Tämä tutkielma kokoaa tietoa siitä miten ja mihin näitä menetelmiä ollaan käytetty. Käydään läpi yksittäisen päätöspuun luominen datasta ja tämän pohjalta tutustutaan kokoonpanomenetelmiin, joissa kootaan useita päätöspuita. Maģistra darbs apkopo informācija par Baltijas somu veidotajiem akmeņu krāvumu kapulaukiem Latvijas teritorijā. Darbā tiek apkopota kapulauku izpētes vēsture un hipotēzes, kas saistītas ar akmeņu krāvumu kapulaukiem un to veidotājiem Latvijas teritorijā. Tiek izveidota Latvijas teritorijā veidoto akmeņu krāvumu kapulauku izplatītāko senlietu un kapulauku uzbūves analīze. Darba beigās tiek veikts secinājums par to, vai balstoties uz pašreiz pieejamo materiālu, iespējams noteikt, kādi bijuši Baltijas somu ienākšanas ceļi Latvijas teritorijā un vai te veidojusies viena vienota vai divas atsevišķas Baltijas somu grupas.

Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) represent an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Statins are a class of drugs whose main adverse effects are drug-induced liver injury (DILI) and myopathy. Some of these may be predictable, due to their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties, while others, unfortunately, are idiosyncratic. Genetic factors may also influence patient susceptibility to DILI and myopathy in the case of statins. Objective: Shift work has negative effects on employee overall health, including sleep disorder, depressive symptoms, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. The association between shift work and the prevalence of sickness absence has been less studied. This study investigated sickness absence among employees working different work shift schedules in the forest industry. Contrasting Norway spruce disturbance dynamics in managed forests and strict forest reserves in Slovakia

Abstract Forest disturbances are intensifying globally, yet regional drivers of these dynamics remain poorly understood. We investigated recent disturbance intensities in Norway spruce (Picea abies L.) forests in Slovakia (Central Europe) with different management objectives in 2000–2017 based on Landsat imagery. We focused on 122 strict reserves without any management, their actively managed surroundings (500 m and 2000 m buffers), and managed production forests beyond the buffer areas. Bakalaura darbs veltīts kuršu vēlā dzelzs laikmeta sabiedrību varas un sociālās organizācijas izpētei. Šī tēma Latvijas arheoloģijā ir maz pētīta, lielākā daļa pētījumu sociālās arheoloģijas ietvaros ir veltīti Austrumlatvijai, kur arī kopumā ir veikti vairāk arheoloģisko izrakumu. Darba mērķis ir veikt padziļinātu sociālo procesu pētniecību, galvenokārt, uzsvaru liekot uz varas modeļiem Rietumlatvijas kuršu etniskās grupas teritorijā sākot no 9. gadsimta līdz 12. gadsimta beigām. Darbā iegūtie rezultāti galvenokārt balstās uz arheoloģisko vietu – pilskalnu un apbedījumu – pārskatu izpēti, rakstīto avotu analizēšanu un ideju balstīšanu un teorētisko literatūru par sociālo arheoloģiju.
Mācību uzdevumi 8. - 9. klašu skolēniem, atbrīvotiem no sporta stundām

Diplomdarbs ‘‘Mācību uzdevumi 8.-9.klašu skolēniem, atbrīvotiem no sporta stundām’’ tika izstrādāts, lai noskaidrotu uzdevumus, ko skolotājs var piedāvāt skolēniem, kuri ir atbrīvoti no sporta stundām. Diplomdarbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām. Teorētiskā daļa sastāv no divām nodaļām un septiņām apakšnodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta sporta stundas nozīme skolā un aktivitāšu nozīme pusaudžu vecumā, kā arī tiek izvērtēti sporta stundas atbrīvojuma iemesli. Savukārt otrajā nodaļā tiek analizēti uzdevumi no stundas atbrīvoto skolēnu līdzdalībai sporta stundās. Praktiskajā daļā tika veikts pētījums. Modeling Forest Tree Data Using Sequential Spatial Point Processes

AbstractThe spatial structure of a forest stand is typically modeled by spatial point process models. Motivated by aerial forest inventories and forest dynamics in general, we propose a sequential spatial approach for modeling forest data. Such an approach is better justified than a static point process model in describing the long-term dependence among the spatial location of trees in a forest and the locations of detected trees in aerial forest inventories. Two hundred and fifty-four metagenome-assembled bacterial genomes from the bank vole gut microbiota.

Abstract Vertebrate gut microbiota provide many essential services to their host. To better understand the diversity of such services provided by gut microbiota in wild rodents, we assembled metagenome shotgun sequence data from a small mammal, the bank vole Myodes glareolus (Rodentia, Cricetidae). We were able to identify 254 metagenome assembled genomes (MAGs) that were at least 50% ( n = 133 MAGs), 80% ( n = 77 MAGs) or 95% ( n = 44 MAGs) complete. As typical for a rodent gut microbiota, these MAGs are dominated by taxa assigned to the phyla Bacteroidetes ( n = 132 MAGs) and Firmicutes ( n = 80), with some Spirochaetes ( n = 15) and Proteobacteria ( n = 11).
