Chương IV - VẤN ĐỀ SỬ DỤNG KHÁNG SINH TRONG CHĂN NUÔI VÀ TƯƠNG LAI CỦA NGHIÊN CỨU VI SINH VẬT ĐỐI VỚI AN TOÀN THỰC PHẨM
2016
Thế nhưng điểm yếu là mức độ an toàn, do sử dụng thức ăn công nghiệp và do rủi ro dịch bệnh lây nhiễm. Một trong những vấn đề lớn là sử dụng kháng sinh trong chăn nuôi. Tại châu Âu, việc dùng k…

Does the lingual film intervene in the perception of taste?
2017
International audience; The biological film at the surface of the tongue, composed of saliva and microorganims, is an important interface between exogenous taste molecules and receptors involved in taste perception. However, the relationships between the composition of the lingual film and the perception of taste are not fully described. Thus, the aim of the present work was to study the differences in the biochemical (protein concentration, metabolite profiles) and microbiological compositions of the tongue films from 20 adult subjects, and to explore the possible relationships between composition and taste sensitivity assessed by means of a rapid at-home test. Preliminary results showed t…

Extraction of essential oil from Aloysia citriodora Palau leaves using continuous and pulsed ultrasound: Kinetics, antioxidant activity and antimicro…
2018
International audience; The impact of continuous and pulsed ultrasound pre-treatments (15, 30 and 45 min) followed by conventional hydrodistillation on the characteristics of extracted essential oils (EOs) from dried leaves of Aloysia citriodora Palau was evaluated for the first time. Chemical composition of EOs, antibacterial and antioxidant activities, as well as the contents in heavy metals (iron, copper, lead, arsenic, and cadmium) were determined. Pretreating the leaves with ultrasound (continuous and pulsed), before hydrodistillation, resulted in shorter extraction time (93.81–121.16 min) and higher extraction yields (2.8 (v/w) %) (p < 0.05), compared to the non-sonicated leaves (extr…
Inactivation of PadR, the repressor of the phenolic acid stress response, by molecular interaction with Usp1, a universal stress protein from Lactoba…
2009
ABSTRACT The phenolic acid decarboxylase gene padA is involved in the phenolic acid stress response (PASR) in gram-positive bacteria. In Lactobacillus plantarum , the padR gene encodes the negative transcriptional regulator of padA and is cotranscribed with a downstream gene, usp1 , which encodes a putative universal stress protein (USP), Usp1, of unknown function. The usp1 gene is overexpressed during the PASR. However, the role and the mechanism of action of the USPs are unknown in gram-positive bacteria. Therefore, to gain insights into the role of USPs in the PASR; (i) a usp1 deletion mutant was constructed; (ii) the two genes padR and usp1 were coexpressed with padA under its own promo…
