Experimental Characterization and Acoustic Correction of a Multipurpose Performance Hall: The Italian Theatre “Cavallino Bianco”

This study presents the retrofit acoustic dq1esign of the Italian theatre “Cavallino Bianco”. In its historical configuration, the hall had a curved roof with a pressed-plant fiber ceiling, which was demolished and replaced with a wooden roof without a false ceiling, leading to an increase in volume and a worsening of the reverberation time. This study proposed the realization of a wave ceiling and the application of sound-absorbing and reflecting panels on the walls, which have already been implemented. A methodology for the control of the residual lifetimes of carbon fibre reinforced composite pressure vessels

International audience; Pressure vessels must be periodically proof tested. Traditional techniques for metal vessels are inapplicable for composite vessels as the latter do not break by crack propagation so that the reasoning behind the traditional testing procedures is not appropriate. Damage accumulation leading to the degradation of a composite vessel is by fibre failure. Fibres show a wide distribution in strengths and loading a composite inevitably breaks some. The method which has been developed is supported by an analysis of delayed fibre failure due to the relaxation of the resin around fibre breaks. Il saggio analizza la fattispecie del patto marciano prevista nell'art. 120 quinquiesdecies TUB nell'ambito della disciplina del credito immobiliare ai consumatori. Dopo aver illustrato gli aspetti più significativi e quelli più problematici della figura, il contributo allarga la prospettiva alla categoria generale del patto marciano tentandone un inquadramento dogmatico anche alla luce delle indicazioni provenienti dalla legislazione speciale.

Instytucja podmiotu zobowiązanego do zwrotu korzyści majątkowej poprzednio była uregulowana w art. 52 Kodeksu karnego1 oraz art. 416 Kodeksu postępowania karnego2. Przepisy te zostały uchylone, jednak po około dwóch latach ustawodawca powrócił do wspomnianego rozwiązania w art. 91a i art. 415a k.p.k. OBJECTIVE: To assess the prevalence of good clinical response and remission in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with longstanding disease treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) drugs at outpatient clinics. METHODS: Retrospective national study of 14 academic tertiary referral rheumatology medical centers. RA patients with a Disease Activity Score (DAS28) > 3.2 were defined as having active disease and could start TNF-alpha blockers. All patients received one TNF-alpha blocker plus methotrexate (10-20 mg/wk).
