In 2006-2008 a mobile software application MobiKid for children aged 3-6 was developed to allow children to sing, record and listen to the songs independently at home. They could even forward the recorded songs to be downloaded from a server by their teacher and relatives. This paper reflects on the joint pilot development and implementation of an international master level online course in Educational Design by three universities from different European countries. The pilot targeted curriculum internationalization and provision of international learning experiences to students with less mobility opportunities through online learning and use of technology. Finnish language students in two North American universities participated in a collaborative chat project as part of their second-year language course. The goals of modern agriculture are obtaining high yields that meet the increasing nutritional requirements of the World population. This is extremely difficult for three kind of reasons: i) the lands dedicated to agricultural use are strongly reduced in industrialized Countries; ii) farmers prefer an homogeneous product, because it is easier to manage, with consequent reduction of biodiversity, iii) globalization and climate change have led to the introduction of new pathogens and pest in environments other than original ones, resulting in serious production losses.
