Poczucie jakości życia a rozbieżność w systemie „ja”– różnice między studentami kierunków społecznych i technicznych

2020

Metoda. Przebadano 64 studentów pedagogiki i 62 studentów elektrotechniki. W badaniach zastosowano Test Przymiotnikowy ACL, Zmodyfikowany Kwestionariusz Poczucia Jakości Życia oraz wywiad i obserwację. Wyniki. Osoby z niską rozbieżnością w systemie „ja” osiągały znacząco wyższe wyniki w Kompetencjach, Relacjach i Autonomii, będącej elementami Modelu Osobowościowo-Aksjologicznego.

Relationship between inbreeding and milk production traits in two Italian dairy sheep breeds.

2022

The effects of inbreeding in livestock species breeds have been well documented and they have a negative impact on profitability. The objective of this study was to evaluate the levels of inbreeding in Sarda (SAR, n = 785) and Valle del Belice (VdB, n = 473) dairy sheep breeds and their impact on milk production traits. Two inbreeding coefficients (F) were estimated: using pedigree (FPED), or runs of homozygosity (ROH; FROH) at different minimum ROH lengths and different ROH classes. After the quality control, 38,779 single nucleotide polymorphisms remained for further analyses. A mixed-linear model was used to evaluate the impact of inbreeding coefficients on production traits within each …

Cardiorespiratory Fitness and the Risk of Serious Ventricular Arrhythmias: A Prospective Cohort Study.

2019

Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) is an established risk factor for cardiovascular disease outcomes. However, the relationship of CRF with risk of ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) is unknown. We aimed to assess the prospective association of CRF with the risk of serious VAs. Cardiorespiratory fitness, as measured by maximal oxygen uptake, was assessed using a respiratory gas exchange analyzer in 2299 middle-aged men in the Kuopio Ischemic Heart Disease prospective cohort. We corrected for within-person variability in CRF levels using data from repeated measurements 11 years apart. During median follow-up of 25.3 years (interquartile range, 18.7-27.2 years), 73 serious VAs were recorded. The age-…

Beta-decay studies for applied and basic nuclear physics

2020

In this review we will present the results of recent beta-decay studies using the total absorption technique that cover topics of interest for applications, nuclear structure and astrophysics. The decays studied were selected primarily because they have a large impact on the prediction of a) the decay heat in reactors, important for the safety of present and future reactors and b) the reactor electron antineutrino spectrum, of interest for particle/nuclear physics and reactor monitoring. For these studies the total absorption technique was chosen, since it is the only method that allows one to obtain beta decay probabilities free from a systematic error called the Pandemonium effect. The me…

On overall sampling plan for small area estimation

2017

The time and budget restrictions in survey sampling can impose limits on the area sample sizes. This may reduce the possibility to obtain area-specific and population parameters estimates with adequate precision. Market research companies and institutes for producing official statistics face frequently this problem. Various models and methods for small area estimation (SAE) have been developed to solve this problem. The sample allocation must support the selected model and method to ensure efficient estimation and must be implemented in the design phase of the survey. The proposed allocation is developed by incorporating auxiliary information, a model, and an estimation method. The estimate…

Dead wood profile of a semi-natural boreal forest – implications for sampling

2019

Dead wood profile of a forest is a useful tool for describing forest characteristics and assessing forest disturbance history. Nevertheless, there are few studies on dead wood profiles, including both coarse and fine dead wood, and on the effect of sampling intensity on the dead wood estimates. In a semi-natural boreal forest, we measured every dead wood item over 2 cm in diameter from 80 study plots. From eight plots, we further recorded dead wood items below 2 cm in diameter. Based on these data we constructed the full dead wood profile, i.e. the overall number of dead wood items and their distribution among different tree species, volumes of different size and decay stage categories. We …

Māsu komunikācijas prasmes un to efektivitātes vērtējums neatliekamās medicīnas nodaļā

2015

Bakalaura darba tēma – Māsu komunikācijas prasmes un to efektivitātes vērtējums neatliekamās medicīnas nodaļā. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka randomizēti pētīju saistībā ar māsu komunikācijas prasmju apmācību un to efektivitātes pierādījumu turpmākā medicīnas aprūpes sniegšanā un iznākumu novērtēšanā. Māsu komunikācijas prasmes apmācība pierādīja, ka māsu prasmes komunicēt bija efektīvākas psihosociālā atbalsta sniegšanā, palielināja prasmes konfliktu risināšanā. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot māsu komunikācijas prasmes efektivitāti neatliekamās medicīnas nodaļās. Pētniecības uzdevumi ir izstrādāt pētījuma instrumentu – anketu, veikt respondentu aptauju, kvantitatīvi veikt datu analīzi par pētījuma i…

Satisfação Profissional no Docente Dominicano: Antecedentes Profissionais

2019
