Audzēja ekstracelulāro vezikulu uzņemšana monocītu šūnās un ietekme uz tām

Audzēju sekretētās ekstracelulārās vezikulas (EV) ir viens no komunikācijas veidiem starp audzēju šūnām un mikrovidi. Audzēju mikrovidē līdzdarbojas vairākas šūnas, tajā skaitā arī makrofāgi un monocīti. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt kolorektālā audzēja SW480 un SW620 šūnu līniju normoksijas un hipoksijas apstākļos sekretēto EV uzņemšanu THP-1 šūnu līnijas monocītos un ietekmi uz tiem. Darbā tika pielietotas plūsmas citometrijas, fluorescentās un fāžu kontrasta mikroskopijas metodes. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka THP-1 šūnas uzņem EV kaveolīna atkarīgās endocitozes ceļā. Monocītu - makrofāgu diferenciācijas noteikšana, izmantojot plūsmas citometrijas un mikroskopijas metodes

Monocīti ir cilvēka organisma šūnas, kuras aktīvi reaģē uz vides izmaiņām. Noteiktos apstākļos, reaģējot uz vides stimulāciju, tie migrē uz iekaisuma vai bojājuma vietu organismā un atbilstoši maina funkcionālo fenotipu, diferencējoties par makrofāgiem. Zināms, ka monocīti var diferencēties par atšķirīgu tipu makrofāgiem. Klasiski tiek izdalīti divi polarizētu makrofāgu tipi: M1 makrofāgiem ir svarīga loma gan pie iedzimtās, gan pie adaptīvās imunitātes, bet M2 makrofāgi atbild par audu atjaunošanu un ir saistīti ar hroniskām infekcijas slimībām. Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena on tarkastella äärellisen väännön kuvauksia euklidisissa avaruuksissa, erityisesti niiden diskreettisyyttä ja avoimuutta. Äärellisen väännön kuvaukset ovat yleistys kvasisäännöllisistä kuvauksista, jotka molemmat määritellään käyttämällä vääntöepäyhtälöä. Kvasisäännöllisille eli rajoitetun väännön kuvauksille voimassa olevat tulokset jatkuvuudesta, diskreettisyydestä ja avoimuudesta säilyvät myös äärelliseen vääntöön siirryttäessä. Profit Sharing the Firm-Size Wage Premium

This study analyzes the relationships among wages, firm size, and profit sharing schemes. We develop a simple theoretical model and explore the relationship empirically using high-quality panel data. The theoretical model shows that the firm-size wage premium decreases in the presence of profit sharing. The empirical results based on rich matched employee-employer data for private sector wage earners in Finland show that the firm-size wage premium is modest, and it becomes negligible when we account for profit sharing and covariates describing assortative matching and monopsony behavior. Previous investigations have indicated a positive correlation between the proliferative and metabolic activities of tumor cells in monolayer culture (Freyer et al., 1984; Freyer and Sutherland, 1985; Walenta and Mueller-Klieser, 1987). On the other hand, no difference in the local oxygen consumption has been found between highly proliferating outer cell areas and non-proliferating inner cellular regions in multicellular tumor spheroids (Mueller-Klieser, 1984, 1987). Therefore, the interrelationship among metabolism, proliferation, and cellular morphology was investigated systematically in tumor cells both in monolayer and spheroid culture.
