Il contributo espone uno studio condotto su nove centri storici siciliani (Alcamo, Caltabellotta, Cammarata, San Giovanni Gemini, Patti, Petralia Sottana, Scicli, Sutera, Tusa). La ricerca è volta a stimare in modo accurato la trasmittanza termica delle murature storiche, attraverso la caratterizzazione meccanica e termica dei materiali lapidei locali e il ricorso ai metodi qualitativi diffusi nell'analisi meccanica delle opere murarie (IQM).

El presente texto analiza el inventario de bienes del pintor valenciano Joan Cardona fallecido en el año 1556. Su trayectoria pictórica como pintor de la ciudad o de la Generalitat, parecía indicar que era más bien un pintor decorador, pero nuevas noticias sobre sus obras abundan en que se trata de un pintor que domina la pintura figurativa. Se analiza la obra mural desaparecida que ejecutó en la capilla de la Universitat que representaba al rector Celaya y a una serie de jurados. En ella pudo ayudarse del empleo de un maniquí de madera que se menciona en su inventario. Petro-archaeological research on Gallo-Roman lime mortars is based on a simple analytical methodology: observations with optical microscopy in transmission, which brings us a maximum of data about the material and the various stages of the “chaîne opératoire”.
