The paper investigates the recovery of classical artworks done through street art by Andrea ‘Ravo’ Mattoni, thus connecting his practice with social responsibility and aesthetic contextualisation emerging from public art in the wake of John Latham’s contextualism and Joseph Beuys’ social sculpture. The choice to recover classical iconography and repertoire from the sites of his interventions offers further the chance to consider the role of contemporary artists in expanding public consciousness and accessibility to cultural heritage by transferring images and meanings from museum rooms to open streets in the original sites. SERS detection of cell surface and intracellular components of microorganisms using nano-aggregated Ag substrate

Abstract The intracellular and cell surface composition and structural features of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria were identified using near-infrared surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The structural differences of components that reside in the cell envelope are manifested by their SERS spectra, e.g. gram-negative vs. gram-positive. Silver particles were used as a SERS substrate by exploiting the existence of strong local electromagnetic fields (hot spots) within nanoscale aggregates of the particles. Purpose: This study reports the outcomes from a Multicenter Registry on unibody stent-graft system for the treatment of spontaneous infrarenal acute aortic syndrome (MURUSSIAS registry). Materials and methods: The retrospective MURUSSIAS registry included spontaneous infrarenal acute aortic dissection (IAAS) managed with the unibody stent-graft system (AFX endovascular AAA system; Endologix Inc., Irvine, California) outside the current instruction for use. Il presente lavoro riguarda la modellazione numerica del comportamento costitutivo delle cosiddette volte in foglio (le bóvedas tabicadas) che rappresentano una delle tecniche edilizie tradizionali catalane più diffusamente impiegate da alcuni tra i più grandi architetti spagnoli (primo fra tutti Gaudí) alla fine del XIX secolo [1-3]. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 3 daļām un 6 nodaļām. Pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīta krievu klasiskās literatūras ienākšana un izplatīšanās Japānā laika posmā no 19. gadsimta otrās puses līdz 20. gadsimta otrajai pusei, kā arī tās ietekme uz Japānas literāro ainu. Otrajā daļā tiek apskatīts periods, kad krievu literatūra tika pētīta visaktīvāk un visstiprāk ietekmēja slavenākos japāņu rakstniekus. Šīs daļas nodaļās tiek pētīta ietekme uz konkrētiem 19. gadsimta otrās puses – 20. gadsimta pirmās puses japāņu rakstnieku darbiem.
