Do teachers’ professional vision and teaching experience always go hand in hand? Examining knowledge-based reasoning of Finnish Grade 1 teachers

This mixed-method study explored 54 Finnish Grade 1 teachers' professional vision and teaching experience. Teachers' retrospective think-aloud interviews, conducted while watching their eye-tracking recordings of classroom actions, were analysed according to the domains of knowledge-based reasoning. Negative associations between teaching experience and amount of knowledge-based reasoning were found. The qualitative examination of three teachers with different amounts of teaching experience provided concrete examples and broadened the findings. <p style="text-align: justify;">Des essais de débourbage en vinification en blanc, réalisés de 1988 à 1992, mettent en évidence le rôle important joué par la teneur en macromolécules solubles dans le moût de raisin. Les moûts de faible turbidité conduisent en effet à des fermentations alcooliques lentes en relation avec de faibles populations levuriennes. Tämän selvityksen lähtökohtana oli arvioida niitä ohjauskeinoja, joilla vauhditetaan runsaiden vesivarojen Suomen kehittymistä edelläkävijäksi vesiviisaassa bio- ja kiertotaloudessa. Tämän loppuraportin ensimmäisessä osiossa tarkastelemme vedenkäytön nykytilaa Suomessa ja vertaamme sitä Tanskan ja Alankomaiden vastaaviin lukuihin. Vesitehokkuus oli noin kahdella kolmasosalla vertailun runsaasta 60 toimialasta Suomessa Tanskaa heikompi. Tässä artikkelissa esittelemme juuri käynnistynyttä Koneen säätiön rahoittamaa, Tampereen yliopistossa toteutettavaa Sanasta kuvaksi -tutkimushankettamme, jossa tuotamme sarjakuvaversioita sosiaalihuollon sopimusteksteistä. Hankkeessa tutkimme, voiko asiakirjojen sisällön ilmaiseminen visuaalisin keinoin parantaa asiakirjojen ymmärrettävyyttä ja siten tukea sellaisten kansalaisten osallisuutta yhteiskunnassa, joiden kieli- tai lukutaito on puutteellista tai joilla on erilaisia kognitiivisia vaikeuksia ymmärtää lukemaansa. nonPeerReviewed
