Artykuł najpierw ukazuje kilka teorii ilustrujących wpływ Jana Kalwina na współczesne społeczeństwo, by następnie skoncentrować się na ściśle teologicznym dziedzictwie jego nauki. Wyliczono sześć płaszczyzn widocznych wpływów. Związane są one z rozwojem kapitalistycznej gospodarki, etyką pracy, procesami demokratycznymi w polityce, purytanizmem, ortodoksją i neo-ortodoksją reformowaną oraz teologią wyzwolenia.

The process of the carnivalization of urban space is aided by contemporary media, which, in popularizing myriad events, amplifies community activities ranging from festivals to mass public shows connected with historical events. Contemporary fascination with such phenomena finds its sources in ritualized models of para- theatrical activity rooted in the traditions of peasant culture, as well as in forms of mass folk protest. As a result, we can observe the rapidly-developing ability of city-dwellers to occupy public space while creating emotional communities that extend into virtual, and other, realms, with the aim of realizing political goals.

Turtles, a speciose group consisting of more than 300 species, demonstrate karyotypes with diploid chromosome numbers ranging from 2n = 26 to 2n = 68. However, cytogenetic analyses have been conducted only to 1/3rd of the turtle species, often limited to conventional staining methods. In order to expand our knowledge of the karyotype evolution in turtles, we examined the topology of the (TTAGGG)n telomeric repeats and the rDNA loci by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) on the karyotypes of two emydids: the Sicilian pond turtle, Emys trinacris, and the yellow-bellied slider, Trachemys scripta scripta (family Emydidae). N-Cinnamoyltetraketide Derivatives from the Leaves of Toussaintia orientalis

Seven N-cinnamoyltetraketides (1−7), including the new Ztoussaintine E (2), toussaintine F (6), and toussaintine G (7), were isolated from the methanol extract of the leaves of Toussaintia orientalis using column chromatography and HPLC. The configurations of E-toussaintine E (1) and toussaintines A (3) and D (5) are revised based on single-crystal X-ray diffraction data from racemic crystals. Both the crude methanol extract and the isolated constituents exhibit antimycobacterial activities (MIC 83.3−107.7 μM) against the H37Rv strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Klastry stanowią istotny element każdej gospodarki. Obecność struktur klastrowych w gospodarce świadczy bowiem o poziomie jej rozwoju, a także wskazuje na jej potencjał oraz dalsze perspektywy rozwojowe. Ze względu na różnorodność struktur klastrowych nie ma dla wszystkich jednolitego zestawu instrumentów wspierających ich rozwój. Konieczne jest stosowanie różnych, odpowiednio dostosowanych do danego typu klastra instrumentów. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie możliwości uzyskania przez klastry dofinansowania w ramach budżetu na lata 2014-2020.

Helping lecturers address and formulate teaching challenges: an exploratory study

International audience; In this paper we present an exploratory study on the kind of questions or difficulties lecturers point out at the beginning of an educational course – to be addressed in it. These questions happen to be very general and are poorly connected to the knowledge to be taught. We suggest a twofold interpretation of this phenomenon. On the one hand, and in the line of the didactic transposition theory, teachers do not allow themselves to raise questions about the knowledge that is supposed to be their main field of expertise.
